WHO Hears YOU at 2 am?

Good morning. You've prayed the polite kind of prayers. I think everybody has. But you've also prayed the other kind, the one that isn't really words. The one that's just noise coming out of your body. You don't even you don't even know how to recognize it. What is that? The one that isn't words, it's it's groans and pleading. The one that's just noise coming out of you. Two in the morning. You haven't been able to sleep. And there's nobody left to call. And there's nothing left to try. And you remember what came next. Silence. You said it out loud into the dark. And the dark just sat there. Today God tells us exactly whose cry he listens for. He names them one by one, out loud, right in the middle of a law code about oxen and cloaks and property lines. And I want you to hear that list carefully, because I don't think, I don't think you know that your name is on that list. Welcome to True Word, Faith for Life with Dr. Sean. As you might imagine, I bet you can guess who I am. I'm Sean. Good morning. Good morning. To be continued 25 is uh tomorrow the day. And I know, Miss Sharon, I'm pretty sure it's the same day for both of you. Um, another one of our dear friends, uh Linda is also having surgery, and so we have many to pray for. We know many of you have chronic conditions and pains and aches, worries and fears, struggles, and uh but regarding regarding tomorrow, let's pray. Heavenly Father, what an honor it is to gather with you, gather among your people. I thank that I thank you that you even incline your ear to us. But we know that you do, and we know that you're the healer, the healer, and then there's nothing beyond your capability to heal. We know that sometimes it is not your will to take everything away, but to bring supernatural comfort and peace throughout whatever your will is, we pray that it will be done. In Miss Sharon, in Miss Sherle, and in Miss Linda. Anytime, surgery, you know, anesthesia, all of the things. I just pray that you'd be in every everything that happens, that there be no fear, no fear at all, that the skill of the surgeons and everyone in the surgical suite, anyone who provides care, from the opening introduction and gathering the data, that it would all go peacefully, that each of these people that deal with our dear, dear friends, your dear children, that they would they would see and sense something very different in them and about them. We know that they all love you, and I know that you love them. We don't want to minimize at all the seriousness of these surgeries, but we ask that as the surgery happens and that it's perfectly successful, and then all the steps to prevent infection and all these things, the pain management, all of it, every bit of it, I pray that you'll be in it. And every step of the way, I know that they will trust you. And Father, we pray for Robbie as he goes through so much on a daily basis, and you would you would bless him, comfort him, give him peace. There are many here who we see and we don't see that just listen.

Listen quietly. Father, I know that you can be in anything.

You can supernaturally give peace and comfort for those who are in chronic pain, fear, anxiety, peace. I ask that peace come. The peace that only comes from you. I know that I can only, I know that I can only pray to you because of what Yeshua did for me. I thank you. I'm so grateful. I pray all of this and for all of the others that I'm not aware of, that you would bring comfort. God, there's family stuff. There's there's families that are just tumultuous, and some are dangerous, toxic, physically and emotionally. I pray that you'd be in those situations. I ask that you make it clear what you would have your children to do. In that precious name, Yeshua Hamasiach, your son, my redeemer, my savior, and my king.

It's that thing in the morning. And and I find it. Listen, I you know I don't sleep well, I sleep very little.

You might hear something that's helpful to you, and give it patience. Allow yourself to be proud of your behavior while here. Look, we're we're still inside the Book of the Covenant, still walking through the everyday law. The everyday law God gave his people at Sinai. Yesterday it was oxen and pits and fires and responsibility for what belongs to your neighbor. Today the law turns. It turns toward people, specifically toward the people who've got nobody else to turn to. Listen to chapter 22, verse 21. Thou shalt neither vex a stranger nor oppress him, for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt. This is chapter 22, verse 21. Thou shalt neither vex a stranger nor oppress him. For ye were strangers in the land of Egypt. There it is again. That memory. You were strangers. You know what it is? Do you know what it feels like to be an outsider? Have you ever gone to a new school or moved? Around new people? You're the foreigner, the one with no rights, no protection, no family standing behind you. So you, of all people, must never do that to somebody else. Good. Good, good, good. Way to go, Tammy. I knew you could do it. I mean, don't you think that it is ironic? I think it is. It just blows my mind. By the way, the word for stranger there is ger, spelled Gemel Resch. Gemelresh. It's the resident alien, the foreigner living among you who doesn't have the land, the clan, the built-in protections a native-born person has.

I think that's just utterly wild. Don't you?

Sarna notes that Ger is one of the most frequently protected figures in all of Torah law. Precisely because the Ger is the easiest person in the room to exploit. And God ties people. Well, he ties his people's treatment of the stranger directly to their own memory of Egypt, isn't that? Uh, do turn down the background music too almost faintly. Oh, no kidding. I have it turned way down. Alright, let's see here. I thought actually, I thought, see, I don't hear anything in my ear. I hear my voice, but I wear hearing aids, and I can't wear hearing aids while I'm doing this. I just basically try to. Anyway, but I appreciate that input because that's I always need that. I always need that. I turned it down about 15%. Let me know how that is. Yeah, I never want that to. I want it to be a blessing and not not some sort of bad thing. Anyhow. Yeah, it looks looks like about, oh actually almost about 20%. So yeah, please let me know uh if that's better. And I turned myself up. So hopefully that'll help. So in all of Torah Law, this is this is you're we're seeing one of the most frequently 5%, up 5% or down 5%. Try and turn it down. There we go. There's another actual 10. So I just think it's amazing. In in all of Toral, precisely because the Gir is the easiest person in the room to exploit. And listen, isn't it interesting? God ties his treatment of the stranger. The stranger, you've been the stranger before. Haven't you? And he reminds them. Yeah, I don't know why it's doing that. It seems to only be loud on your end, because everybody else is saying the music is perfect. So I've just turned it down now. I only have one more setting, and that's basically off. Let's do this. There we go. Let's give that a try. So I I to me I think it's fascinating. Just utterly fascinating. God, God seems to always be looking out. Even though the experience that they had was honestly an awful experience. Right? In Egypt, they were slaves. They're having to make bricks out of mud and no straw. That's wild. It's just wild. I think that blows my mind and it ought to blow your mind. Because think about how many times we just overlook people. Right? We say, well, I'm just not a people person. If you're a churchgoer, somebody shows up to church and you don't know who they are. Oh, you're you're most welcome, Julius. We can we can get her figured out. We work together, we can get it all figured out. Be good for everybody. So I I gave a story yesterday, told a little brief little vignette story about the woman who said hello to a churchgoer at the grocery, didn't know her. Had never been to her church yet, and her little family. You know, she said hello to the grocery, and the the woman was just ignorant to her. And then lo and behold, she shows up to her church. She doesn't know this woman. She just knows she wasn't kind to her. She just looked at her and she said, Hi, how are you? Good morning. She just looked at her and snarled. It's the weirdest thing. Her and her family say, let's let's try that church over across town. We're new here. Why not? So they so they went to the church and they walk in and they got the time wrong. They were 15 minutes late because who starts at 1045? Right? Who starts at 1045? I mean that is hot. So they guess. And they they're there a little bit late. And they're toting their family. They have a handicapped daughter. And the woman, the snarly woman, is sitting on the end, end of the pew. There's space enough where that whole family would fit. Yeah, maybe it'd be a little bit tight. You know, maybe it would be. Who cares? It's a little bit close. It's not that, not that long. And they kind of stand there and this woman. She doesn't. She doesn't even move. She just looks like if you'd have gotten here on time like I did, you could sit wherever you want. She doesn't budge. Meanwhile, this family's thinking about, well, I'll just have to go stand in the pack, I guess. And then this older lady, little tiny one, hello, Miss Linda. We're praying for you. We just prayed for you just a little bit ago. Miss Cheryl is about to go into surgery today. You're going into surgery uh Friday. And uh I'll get the the right date for Miss Sharon. I don't know why I thought they were on the same day. I know why. I have a brain injury. But anyway, the point is this little lady kind of senses that there's something going on behind. And listen, this family's not making a scene. And she turns around, she says, Come on, come on, come on. Come on up here. Get you a seat. Sit down and enjoy. And that woman knew full well, if she lets the family sit there, she can't sit there. She's an older lady. She's a little bit frail. And she does it with a smile and she leans over and says, You enjoy. And she walks to the back and she stands. What I didn't say the other day is lots of people saw that little frail older lady do that kindness to that family. And then when the older lady went to the back, knowing full well they have to stand. That she'd have to stand. Can you imagine? That to me is just wild. How can you watch this happen? First of all, how can you watch this happen and not motivate you and move you? But further, you see this elderly lady. How can you not go up to her and just say, hey, come on, come on, come on over here. Get you a seat. Don't be standing back here. Come on now. You've earned a seat. At the very least. She was the love of Christ. She was the love of his people. To a stranger. To a foreigner. They didn't do anything wrong. They were just trying to go to church. Find a body of believers to worship with. Maybe make one or two friends. But nobody did. Nobody. Nobody from the church. And they all knew this older lady. They didn't go for her seat. They didn't go over to me. That was such a kindness. She did a kindness to a stranger, and she didn't expect anybody to do anything for her. She was gracious and loving and kind of and welcoming. Kyle says, What denomination are you? Um, so I'm a follower of the way. Uh I was ordained a whole bunch of years ago in the Southern Baptist uh summit association. And uh I'm not a Southern Baptist, but they are the body that ordained me. Lovely people. Um, but I am a follower of the way. So so the hard, the hard path, the struggles, the history of suffering, it was never intended to make us to harden us against other people. It's quite the opposite. But how often I want you to think about how often, how often is it that it's not bad at all? Makes us hard-hearted. I think it's sad. Hey, I've been there. I've been there. I think I know who Julius Caesar is. Hey, how you doing, brother? Now I get it. He says, quit professing I have a brain injury. This was the tell. You are well. Life and death are in the power of the tongue. God bless you, brother. Well, I most assuredly have a brain injury and a spinal cord injury and heart injury and all of that, but God has been great. He's been so gracious to me. Honestly, the VA has been amazing. Um, I can't say enough. It's wonderful. I'm blessed beyond measure. So, but then, but then this widens, right? Verse 22, it widens. Ye shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child. I say this ever since Charlie Kirk was murdered. And and his wife, Erica, has, and and and the friends and the colleagues have had to deal with such awful, awfulness from people that claim to be Charlie's friend, and claim to be Erica's friend. They're nothing of the sort. Evil demons. Evil demons. And this verse, this verse is very, very clear. I mean, it's it couldn't be more clear. Verse twenty-two, you shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child. You tell me. You tell me. Hey, brother, love you, man. That's my good friend from Delaware. Good dude. You shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child. And yet Erica Kirk is being tortured. And it's it's about money, it's about power, it's about influence. And honestly, I pray that she sued into oblivion, that every dime she has ever made, any wealth she's ever accumulated, is handed over to that widow, those children, and that the world sees what a fraud. Tucker Carlson, no better. But she's straight up evil. I just did a broadcast on that. And I don't pull any punches and I give you the facts. And they're all footnoted, every bit of it. So the widow and the orphan. In the ancient Near East, these were the most defenseless human beings alive. A woman with no husband and she's toting a child around, with no father, no provider, no protector, no standing in the community, and no voice at the city gate where justice actually got decided. They were the easiest people in the world to cheat. They were the easiest people in the world to ignore, to shove aside. Insignificant. You don't matter. And now, listen to what God says. I want you to hear what God says happens if you do it. Listen, Candace. Listen, Tucker. Listen to you, other people. And I don't put it all on them. And I said this in the broadcast that I recently did. And I say it here. If you follow, and listen, I have I have good friends, I have family, people I dearly love that are acolytes of her. And Tucker Carlson. It boggles the mind. But I explain why. I explain why. There's a whole psychology behind it. Psychology of manipulation, I go into great, great detail. I encourage you to listen to it. Listen to it with an open mind. I want you to listen to what happens if you do this. Verse 23. If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry. Can you imagine? I want you to see what the Hebrew is doing there. Listen, I teach from the perspective of the ancient Near Eastern language, culture, and context. Little things don't mean a lot, they mean everything. You know, English is a great language. I love it. Hebrew is is is a it's just an astounding thing. It is an astounding thing. So I want you to see what this phenomenal language with very few letters. It's just amazing. And very few words, but the phenomenality of the linguistics of it and the etymology of words and letters and how they're placed and the numerology and the you know the placement and and all that. It's just a whole big thing. I'd I'd love to do another teaching on it. It's real heady and it's real scholar-like and academic, but maybe I can um work on it. Um, you know, this series, the Through the Bible in a year, walking the story of God, it's intense and it's a lot of preparation. And I'm drawing on, you know, uh I counted them up the other day, uh a little over 4,000 pieces that I've written over time, including two books that I've written. Um, I don't know, almost a thousand speeches, over a million words in scholarship, in school, you know, two dissertations, two doctoral dissertations, several master's dissertations, all these different things. These I'm drawing on that. I want you to see what Hebrew is doing there, because English can't carry this. Twice in that one sentence the verb gets doubled. Suak yitzak. So yitzak. Cry, they will cry. Shmoeshma, hear I will hear. Suak yitzuck, cry they will cry. Shamoeshma, hear I will hear. Oh my land. Hebrew stacks a verb on top of itself.

It's quite extraordinary.

Hebrew does this like that when it wants to remove every possible doubt. If they cry out, they will absolutely cry out. And if they cry out, I will absolutely hear it. Not might, not eventually. The grammar itself is God nailing the door shut on any question as to whether He is listening. Some folks say, well, that's just heartless that you want Candace to lose everything and Tucker to lose everything because of what they've done to this dear widow and the children, active death threats. I go into all of it. It's all footnoted. It's all footnoted, detailed bibliography. You can watch it if you want. It's also on wherever you get your podcasts. Wherever you get your podcasts, I'm there. True Word Faith for Life with Dr. Sean, S-H-A-W-N. I want you to sit in that for a second because the widow has no advocate at the gate. The orphan has no father to stand up for him. The stranger has no clan to defend him. They have nobody. But God says, Now they have me. Do you remember how this whole story got started? Back in chapter 3, God tells Moses at the bush, I have surely seen the affliction of my people and have heard their cry. Same word. Suckatum, their cry. The entire Exodus began because God heard a cry that every powerful man on earth had learned to tune out. And now he's writing that same character into the law of his people. The God who hears is building a people who hear. Listen, I don't want to hear, I don't want to hear you go on and on about how much you love Jesus. I love Jesus. Jesus is my Jesus is my everything. And then you're rude as all get out to the server in the restaurant, to the person stocking shelves at the grocery. You go to get gas, you go in the convenience store, and you're rude to the people behind the counter. Come on now. Don't tell me how much you love Jesus if you're not willing to love his people. Yes, there are times where judgment and consequences come into play. Absolutely. That's not being unkind, that's being just. But it it is not impossible to be kind to the people around you. And listen, if you're in, if in if you're in intractable, just utterly inescapable pain, chronic pain. Your brain is just twisted up all the time. Because you're you're constantly trying to overcome all of this. And you don't want to be unkind to people. That's not your nature. But you're in so much pain, it's difficult to be. I don't know, it's difficult to be peaceful and gentle and kind. It is. Don't tell me how much you love Jesus. How much you love Yeshua. If you can't even give a smile and a hello to somebody who says hi to you, or somebody is obviously in a new place. They are in a new place. That same God who came down for slaves won't sit still while his people make slaves of the weak. And this is this is one of the most important things you'll ever know about the God of the Bible. He isn't neutral about the vulnerable, the weak. He isn't standing off at a distance, weighing both sides evenly like a referee. He has, if I can say it this way, a holy bias toward the people nobody else will defend. What about you? You say, I want to have the character of God. There's a good start. And he gets specific about it. Verse 25. If you lend to the poor, don't charge them interest like a moneylender. Verse 26 If you take a poor man's cloak as collateral, hand it back before the sun goes down. Why? Because he'd be cold. And then tenderly, so tenderly. Verse 27. For that is his covering only. It is his raiment for his skin. Wherein shall he sleep? Where else is he supposed to sleep? God notices the cold. God notices the one blanket. God notices. Here's what I need you to see. This is worship. We tend to think worship is. We tend to think worship is what happens when we sing, when we pray, when we lift our hands, and and it is, it is very much so. But God is teaching right here that how you treat the widow and the stranger and the poor man's only blanket, well, that's worship too. In fact, it's that's the worship. Look, you can you can you can stand in church and you can raise your hands and you can sway and you can you know do all the movements and and all of that, and you can even cry, the tears are streamed down your face. And you can call that worship, absolutely, and it is. But if upon that, before that and after that, you're rude and unkind to the widow and the stranger, and the poor and the vulnerable and the weak, to the ill, to the injured. How do you treat them? How do you treat them? God's teaching right here that how you treat the widow, the stranger, the poor man, the poor man's only blanket, that is worship. Rubber meets the road. Listen, you can tell me until you're blue in the face about how you're raising money to go across some far-flung place and minister to people for a week, five days, seven days, however long. And I'm not saying they're not important. But in order to do that, you will raise money and you will walk past people who are so cold. They have no coat, children who have no coat, parents who have no coat, no gloves, no blankets. You walk right past them as you head to the airport and fly. That's easy. Those people you never see again. It's easy to tell them about Jesus. Give them water and feed them, give them clothes. But then you fly back and you see those same people without a coat, without blankets, without food. That's worship. If you provide for them, help them. It's the same holiness that was trembling on that mountain. Now bending all the way down to check whether a man has something to sleep under tonight. Justice for the weak isn't separate from loving God. Justice for the weak is what love for God looks like when it puts on shoes. Now, chapter 23. Chapter 23 picks the thread right up. Verses 1 through 9 are about justice in the courts. Don't spread a false report. Don't lie on people. Don't follow a crowd into wrongdoing. And don't twist a verdict. Well, Candace, Tucker, their acolytes. Stop spreading false things because you like the likes and the and the shares and all that stuff on the hate that you're spreading. Crazy, crazy things that you're saying, that you're parroting. You can't blame it on her. Listen, she's gonna pivot. I'm sure right now her advisors are advising her to put money in trusts, put them in trusts, blind trusts, so nobody can see them. Nobody can see them. You don't have access to them. Right now, they're structured in such a way it's protected from the public eye. It's protected from probate. It's protected from all these things. They can't, at least they can't take that away, or it'll be a lot harder, harder for them to find, harder for them to take. I'm sure all that's happening. Lies. Just sickening lies. Every single one of them. Footnoted, annotated, Turabian style bibliography. Go and listen. It's free. Listen with an open mind. I talk a lot about confirmation bias in the psychology of manipulation. As many of you know, part of my background has to do with certain types of psychology. Don't spread a false report. Don't follow a crowd into wrongdoing. Don't twist a verdict. That's all that's been happening where this message is not about that. It's about you. And if you're joining in all that, well, I'm in the know. You just have, you're a sheep. You've got blinders on. You just refuse to see. Oh, it's sickening. It's sickening what you're doing. And and Candace and Tucker, they will hide behind. I was just asking questions. I just wanted the right thing to happen, and I wanted to pressure them into doing the right thing. Or they'll pivot the whole other way. Tyler Robinson found guilty. If that happens, I pray to God. And y'all will still say, oh, it's a crooked, crooked trial. It's a it's a crooked trial. It was a crooked judge. It was a crooked prosecution. It was um Tyler Robinson was paid by someone, some entity, some crazy entity. Um, you know, uh, Charlie was killed by the French Foreign Legion, by Israel, by this, by that, by all this other stuff. She has no evidence, she has no investigators. She has the internet and people that spread her poison. Same with Tucker. It's disgusting and it's horrific. And quite frankly, as much as I know about people, I am shocked how many people who claim to be followers of Jesus, of Yeshua. How many are on that bandwagon? It's tragic. And some of you who will quietly fall away when the trial happens and all of the evidence is put into public view. You'll just quietly skulk away.

So I was bought in, and you know, blah, blah, blah. You'll do one of two things. Well, you won't be able to hide. I'll see to it. I will see to it. Evil. Just straight up evil. Look, and then verse 3. Stops you, cold. Don't favor a poor man in his lawsuit either. Now that isn't, that isn't nothing. Isn't that something? God just spent an entire chapter protecting the poor, and now he says, don't put your thumb on the scale of a poor man in court. Why? Because justice has to be true. God's bias toward the vulnerable is never a permission slip to bend a fact. Justice that lies even on behalf of somebody who's suffering isn't justice anymore. He wants a people who are fiercely protective of the defenseless and scrupulously honest at the same time. Both. Always both. Then verses four and five, one of my favorite little laws in all of Scripture. If you come across your enemy's ox or donkey wandering loose, bring it back to him. If you see the donkey of the man who hates you collapsing under its load, don't walk on by. Get under it with him and lift. Did you catch who? If you come across your enemies. Your enemies, amen. I mean. How wild is this?

It's your enemy. If you see the donkey of a man who hates you, a woman who hates you. Collapsing under its load. Don't walk on by. Get under it with him and lift. Your enemy's animal. The man who can't stand you. The woman who can't stand you. Sweating on the side of the road. God says, help him. God says, help her. Bring it back. Lift the load. Centuries before Yeshua ever said, Love your enemies. It's already sitting right there in the everyday law. The heart of God has always been this. Do good to the one who wouldn't do it for you. Look, I teach the way that I do because I'm convicted to do it. I studied at the doctorate level, the ancient Near Eastern language culture and context. Obviously, I lost a lot. Any of the learned languages that I spoke and read and wrote, um, you know, when I got hurt. And I'm in retrospect, I'm kind of glad of it. Because it forces me to read it again and again and again. Because I don't retain it. I'm glad because I read this over and I say, Wow. Well, they wouldn't do any good for me. They wouldn't do it for me. I'd tell you that. Oh no. Hey, they would look at me and go, ah, you got what's coming to you. And justice is justice, folks. We're not talking about an injustice here. The heart of God. Do good to the one who wouldn't do it for you. The rest of chapter 23 turns into the rhythms of worship and time. You gotta watch where these bend. I teach this way. I'm spending all of this time making sure you understand the foundation of our faith. There are many that want to erase it. There are many pastors and entire churches and entire denominations that want to erase this. And that's why I teach this way, because if you don't understand the ancient Near Eastern language, culture, and context, you will not understand what you need to know in order to go to the New Testament and read and understand that and live it. Watch this, verses 10 and 11. The sabbatical year. Six years you sow your land, and the seventh you let it rest and lie fallow, so the poor of your people may eat from it, and whatever they leave, the wild animals get. Even the way you farm is designed to leave something behind for the ones who have nothing. Verse 12, the weekly Sabbath or Shabbat, so your ox and your donkey may rest, and the son of your servant and the stranger may be refreshed. That word is beautiful. Nefesh, the being that prays. Now there's Yinafresh, Yinafesh, derived from Nefesh, the soul, the throat, the breath, so they can catch their breath. Even animals, even the servant, even the stranger, everybody gets to breathe. And then the three great feasts in verses 14 through 17. Unleavened bread, remembering the Exodus. Harvest.

The first fruits. The first fruits of their labor.

In gathering at the turn of the year. Three times a year, the whole nation stops working, walks to the same place, and stands before the Lord together. The calendar itself is engineered to keep pulling these people home. Now let me bring it where it's going. Because this passage points directly at Yeshua. And it points, it points in a way that ought to undo us even just a little bit. How did he go? Who did he go to? To whom did he go? Read the gospels with today's text in your hand. He went to the widow at Nain, Nain, and handed her back her son. He went to the outsiders, the Samaritans, the ones the religious crowd wouldn't stand next to. He noticed a poor widow dropping in two small coins while everybody else was watching the rich man. He touched the leper. He put himself between a woman and a circle of stones. He is Exodus 22 with skin on. The God who said, I will surely hear their cry, became the man who walked over and answered it. And here's the part that should undo you. And if it doesn't, I just I just pray that you will pray. You will pray. You will get in this book. Dig in deep. Pour your heart into it. This should undo you. If it doesn't, you gotta check yourself. If God has a holy bias toward the one who cannot help himself, toward the one with no advocate, toward the one crying out in a room where nobody's listening, then hear the gospel. That's you. That's me. Spiritually, we were the widow with no provider, the orphan with no father, the stranger with no home, the poor man with one thin blanket against the cold. We had no advocate. We couldn't save ourselves. God heard our cry, and he didn't stay distant. He came down in the form of Yeshua, Jesus Christ, and he became our provider, our father, our home, and our covering. So here's what today asks of you. And it's small enough for you to actually do. There's no reason, there's no excuse. None of us here have any excuse. Somewhere close to you, there's a person nobody is defending. A widow whose casserole stopped coming about four months after the funeral. Or maybe four days. Or maybe they never came at all. Because she wasn't popular. She wasn't on social media. She didn't give a lot of money at church. She gave what she had. Maybe she was a little bit ragged. A single mother never gets asked to dinner. She never gets asked over to other people's house. She never gets asked, hey, how you doing it? How can I help you? A neighbor who still doesn't have the language. And those people talk slower at him. Somebody at your job that everybody's decided is fair game. Hey, look, it doesn't matter if they bring it on themselves. Don't join in. Don't be part of that. I'm gonna share a story with you really quick. The story breaks my heart. I lived it. I experienced this. And I hate it. By the way, XTXF54. Why are you religious extremists? Why do you support hurting humanity? Clearly you haven't listened. Can the religious extremists read? Clearly you haven't listened. And you don't want to listen. You want to confirm your bias and disrupt. Check your heart. I hate this story. It happened. I had to write it down because, you know, I'm forgetting more and more. And I'm I'm unable to recall things. So as I think of something, I type it out and I'd say, okay, let me let me let me handle this. Let me get this written down. I used to do a lot of the cooking in my family. I cooked from scratch. And they always used to say, before I got hurt real bad, they always used to say, listen, write these down. We want these recipes. These are going to be important one day. We take this with us. And I didn't. Because honestly, I thought, why would I? I'll do the cooking forever. You know, I don't need to do all that. Got plenty of time. And then in an instant, gone. So that's why I write these things down on again. There was a kid. Went to school. For two years I went to a Christian school. Independent, fundamental, KJV only school. And there was a kid there. He wasn't special needs because he, you know, he he was a smart kid. He just. the way he learned was different. And he was a little, he was a little bit chubby. He was being raised by his grandma, who's a dear lady, but she was doing all she could. For her to send him to that school was a massive sacrifice. And he used to get made fun of, just ridiculed, bullied, they would call it now. And it was terrible. I was a really small, skinny kid. I'm under 6'4 now, but I was a I was a tiny, skinny, skinny dude. You have no idea. The teachers, when they would see, they would they would try to intervene. It was always the real popular kids at school. You know, the wealthy families, the ones who could afford. And it's nothing against their families. But the kids were just they were ruthless. And honestly, you know, there's a there's a bias that comes from there's a bias that comes from being in a different position socioeconomically.

Every single day.

They were just unrelenting to him. I would step in. And, you know, people are like, wait. This kid doesn't live here. This kid doesn't live there. Look at him. Look at his uniform. It's all ragged. Look at his shoes. Look at his haircut. He's fat. He looks this way or that way. He was just he was a nice kid. And one time he asked me, he said, why are you defending me? I couldn't believe it. He said, Why are you defending me? Why would you put yourself at risk for me? Nobody likes me. And I said, I won't say his name. I said, nobody likes you. These people are doing this, they don't even know you. He said, why why are you defending me then? You don't know me. I said, you're right. I don't. But it's not right what they're doing. I knew enough to know it wasn't right, and I'm a young kid. That kid got relentlessly bullied there. And finally the grandma, I'm sure, thought, why am I spending all this money for my kid to get bullied? And the church school isn't protecting him. So she said, I might as well send him to public school. Got even worse there. Ninth and tenth grade. Brutal. I did all I could do, all I could do. Anytime I saw it, I stopped it.

Dang it.

And then one day. He didn't show up at school. And then another day, and then another day, and another day. And finally I learned. This was before social media. I learned he had taken his own life. Never did a mean thing to anybody. He didn't get what was coming to him. He didn't bring it on himself. And it started with Christians. One day he woke up and said, I can't take it anymore. I wish, I wish I would have had a way to stay in communication with him, you know, in between. And you know, I this just didn't exist then. I sometimes think, man, I maybe I could have prevented that. I talk people out of taking their own lives. For the last 20 years I've done that. More than twenty. And I've been I've been successful in most of the cases. I wish I could help him. I believe he's in heaven. In fact, I know that he is. And no one will ever bully him again. No more sorrow, no more pain. Only joy. Eternal joy. Listen, before you go to bed tonight, I want you to do one concrete thing for that person. Remember, I it's a simple list. The people that are overlooked. The people in your sphere that are overlooked. The single mother. You don't know why she's a single mom. Why judge her? Can't unring a bell. Even if she was, you know, for whatever reason. Oh man, let me tell you, Robbie, 100%. I used to be a stud. Defend the weak because someday it may be you. That's what Robbie just said. I'm living it now. Trust me, I still have resources to protect myself. Don't get it twisted. But I know what it's like. And let me tell you something. When I'm using my walker and or my uh crutches or walking sticks or whatever, all the eights. People don't generally get out of your way. Even at church, they just don't. But I have friends that'll seek me out and help me out. Hey, can I get you a coffee? No, you go sit down, I'll bring it to you. I want you to think about that person in your sphere. Maybe it's a neighbor that is just shy. Maybe when you see her at the mailboxes, you say, hey, how you doing? I'm so-and-so. My name is Sean. Don't say it's Sean if it's not Sean. She'll think you're crazy and walk away. Say it's uh it's good to meet you. Reach out your hand, shake her hand, shake his hand, take him on. I haven't I've seen you a few times, but I've never had the pleasure of meeting you. How are you? Before you go to bed tonight, do one concrete thing for that person, that person that's in your mind. Because I know the picture, the image of that person is in your mind right now. Make the call. Maybe send the money. You say, I don't have a lot of money. Doesn't take a lot, just takes a little bit. Take the meal. And look, if you're a horrific cook, don't take the meal. Go buy the meal and take it to them. Maybe you know, somebody's heard of they have surgery. Maybe you go and you you knock on their door and say, Hey, can I hoover up around here? Can I run the sweeper for you? Maybe do some dishes. You need me to run to the grocery. Have a list of things. Don't make them think of it. Maybe when you're you're sitting at a table or nearby a table, and people are making jokes at another person's expense. You step in. That's not right. And if they're Christians, tell them, hey, you represent God. And you're representing him poorly right now. And you are certainly not representing me. Yeah, you'll be in the targets. So what? You've been reading God's list all morning. You put your name on it as somebody who helps carry the load, and not somebody who walks past. Look, if today you're the one on that list, you're the person crying out into silence. Hear this before you go anywhere. He hears you. He has always heard you. The God of the widow and the orphan and the stranger is bending down towards you right now, and he has an answer to your cry, and the answer has a name, and his name is Yeshua. Let's pray. Prayer is not asking for an easy journey, it's asking for a strong back. Let's pray, Heavenly Father, you're the one who hears, you heard slaves groaning in Egypt when nobody on earth cared. And you have heard every word that's come out of this heart at two in the morning. Thank you that you were never neutral about the hurting. For the one listening today who feels invisible. I pray, God, let this be the morning the silence breaks. And Father, for every one of us, I ask you give us a strong back. Thank us the kind of people who hear the way you hear, who notice the cold and the one blanket who lift the load even when it belongs to somebody who hates us. In Yeshua's name. Amen. Now listen, I know that's going to bring questions. People are going to say, well, what about Iran? I don't hate the people of Iran. Their leadership wants to kill us. Radical Islam wants to kill us, and they will, and they have, and they do. And trust me, they get a nuclear weapon, they will absolutely destroy Israel. They'll kill everyone there. They'll kill everyone who supports them. Everyone who isn't of their ilk. They will kill them. You got to deal with that. This is not speaking to them. Just understand that. I do a lot of teaching about this. It's very complex. It's there on the website, TrueWord Faithful Life with Dr. Shaw and S-A-T-W-N. Listen, if you've if you've never come to him, I want you to come today. You don't need better words. You just need to cry out. He has already promised what he does with your cry. I want you to pray this with me and mean it. Yeshua, I need you. I recognize that you are, you are the Messiah, that you died and rose again on the third day. I ask that you forgive me of my sins, my hurts, my habits, my hangups. I ask that you fill me, lead me. I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me. I'm yours. In your name. Amen. Listen, if you prayed that prayer, if you prayed that prayer, then the one who had no advocate now has the best one there will ever be. Tell somebody today. The God who hears the cry has heard yours. I pray that everything goes perfectly and that the supernatural presence of God is in that surgical suite. We know that the days and the weeks after will be difficult. We pray for excellent pain management and excellent infection management. We pray that when time for physical therapy comes and it will, that you will pour yourself into it, be healthy and be strong and be good day by day. For Linda, as you face this tomorrow, we love you. You're precious to us, and you're precious to God. I pray the same for you that that surgical suite will be swirling with the presence of the God who created you. It will be difficult after, but you're going to do it. You're going to do great. I want you all to receive this. Nadunai Elohim's name, the heavenly name.
