TRUE Word, Faith for LIFE!
TRUE Word, Faith for LIFE!
You have sat through Bible teaching that never changed a thing. Opinions dressed up as truth. Depth that needed a seminary degree to follow, or shallowness that asked nothing of you at all. This is not that. True Word, Faith for LIFE! walks the whole Bible in a year, in order, the way the story was actually told. I take the Hebrew and the Ancient Near Eastern world Scripture was born in and make it plain, so you see what the first hearers saw, then walk out knowing what to do with it today. No watering down. No insider language. Every episode lands on Yeshua, and every episode lands on your real life. If you're tired of confusion and ready to actually live your faith instead of just studying it, you belong here. The Bible in a Year: Walking the Story of God Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM Eastern, live Sundays, 6:30 PM Eastern, live The Book Find it in the STORE at the top of the site. This book was written for the person tired of religious pieces, tired of confusion, and ready for God's Word to make sense in real life. Walk this journey with me. Faith for LIFE. That runs about a third the length and leads with the punch instead of the handshake. One real tradeoff to call: I stripped the decorative emojis because they're most of what makes the current page read as generic. If you want the page to stay scannable for mobile, adding one functional icon back on the schedule and book headers is defensible. Losing the 🔥 and ⭐ is not. © 2026 Dr. Shawn M. Greener. STILL This Tired?

The most demanding thing God put on Israel's calendar wasn't a festival. It was stopping. You've been tired for years. The kind sleep doesn't touch. You keep meaning to rest. You never do. And nobody ever told you that you were allowed to. Leviticus 23 is the morning God hands His people a calendar, and the very first appointment He writes on it is the one you are worst at keeping. Then it does something no calendar around it did. And by the end it stops being about farming at all and turns i...

WHEN NO ONE SEES!

WHO ARE YOU WHEN NO ONE FINDS OUT? God said be holy. Then He spent thirty-five verses on your payroll, your scales, and what you said about someone at lunch. Not one line about religious feeling. Leviticus 19 is the center of the whole book, and it's addressed to everyone, not the priests. The farmer. The shopkeeper. The day laborer. Its definition of holiness is almost entirely about how you treat the person who can do nothing for you, and the person who will never find out what you did. You...

HE Saw!

Stop calling it "a rough childhood." Stop calling it "a hard marriage." It was abuse. Say the real word, because the real word is the first thing they stole from you. They made you afraid in your own home, then trained you to defend them. To minimize it. To wonder if you made it up. You didn't make it up. God was there. In the room. And He has never once stood on the side of the person who hurt you. Your fear was justified. Your memory is not a lie. Your healing is not weakness. The silence o...

What Do YOU do when No One Sees?

God walked into a house where one man held all the power. Then He named the people that man could not touch. Read Leviticus 18 slowly and notice who's on the list. Daughters. Sisters. Daughters-in-law. Every person in that household who had no legal standing, no court to appeal to, and no way out the door. Then chapter 20 says something almost nobody preaches. God set His face against the man who did the harm. And against everyone who heard it and looked away. Two chapters, read together the

It Didn't Come Back!

Israel stood and watched a living animal walk over the horizon carrying everything they'd just confessed out loud. And then it was gone. Not stored. Not filed. Gone, into a land cut off. This is the center of Leviticus. The high priest strips off his glory and dresses like a servant. Two goats are chosen by lot. One dies, because atonement costs blood. One leaves, because guilt has to go somewhere. Along the way: what azazel actually means and doesn't mean, how Israel's ritual differs from ev...

WHY DO I ALWAYS LEAVE FIRST?

You told them the worst thing about you first, before they could find it themselves. And you called it honesty. There's a man in this stretch of the Bible who did the same thing out loud, on a road, so people would step back before they reached him. Some of us have been doing it for years without a mark anywhere on our body. Three chapters, one argument. What tzara'at actually was, and why leprosy is the wrong word. Why the priest examines but never treats. And the detail almost nobody notices

The God Who Moved First

The God Who Would Not Leave

The God Who Would Not Leave There's a fear a lot of us carry and never say out loud. It's the fear that you've finally done it. That somewhere back there you crossed a line you can't uncross, broke the same promise one too many times, handed your h…

I am just a beggar who found Bread, helping other hungry beggars to find Him too. My life has certainly been complex and I and my halo has many dents. Heschel said; "Something Sacred hangs in the balance of every moment." I live like it. I teach like it.

As a person who survived a fatal 92 mph vs 51 mph head on crash, after dying and re-animating, and surviving several other brushes with death, my perspective is, let's say, unique. I haven't always been a theologian and I'm living REAL life, just like you... I have my hurts, habits and hangups too.

I've learned a few very important things along the way that I'm confident you'll find useful... butter for the Gluten free Bread so to speak.. Oh, you may chuckle or full on snort along the way, but you might also shed a few tears... Faith for LIFE... That's how it happens.
