Exodus ends in the wrong place. Not the promised land. A desert.
And it ends in triumph anyway.
Almost a year to the day since the blood on the doorposts, something comes down and fills the tent they built, and the man who once walked into the fire for forty days suddenly cannot get near it.
If you're stuck in a season with no arrival date on it, this is the word you've been missing about where God actually is right now.
New here? This is a daily, chronological, verse-by-verse walk through the whole of Scripture, rooted in the Hebrew language and the Ancient Near Eastern world, always centered on Yeshua. Subscribe and turn on the bell so you don't miss tomorrow, where a new book opens and the God who just filled the tent calls out from inside it.

There's a day you've been waiting for, and it's it's got an arrival date on it. The day the diagnosis is finally gone, the day the marriage is healed, the day the money comes and the pressure lifts. The day you climb out of the season you're stuck in right now. Somewhere along the way you started treating that day as the day God finally shows up. Like he's waiting for you at the finish line and everything between here and there. Well, that's just wilderness. You have to survive that wilderness on your own. You know, he comes in at the end. Well, I want to talk to that today. I want to talk to that because that is the important one. That's a place where a lot of us, if we're being honest, we stay there an awful lot. Also, because today the book of Exodus Exodus and Forty chapters of playing and sea and mountain and gold and blood, all of it building to a single sentence.
SPEAKER_00Nowhere near the land they were promised. And it ends in triumph anyway.
SPEAKER_01Someone moved into the middle of the camp. I am Dr. Sean. And accurately is the only way you're going to understand it in a way that impacts your life. Because that's the only way it can impact relationship with God if you let it. And honestly, I don't care if you pick up a Bible, it could be any kind of Bible, could be a Moose Works Bible, could be a Bible on this. I encourage you. I encourage you to obtain a printed Bible. One you can write in. There are many that that I really like. None of them are perfect. If you want help with that, TrueWordfaithforLife.com, contact. I'll help you. I've done episodes on it. True Word Faith for Life with Dr. Sean S H A W N on YouTube. While you're there, click on subscribe and like and thumbs up and whatever and all the things. It's the only thing that matters. Honestly, nobody hears this. Nobody out there in that crazy world of social media will hear it. Unless you do it. You say, Well, I'm not a missionary. Well, that's one way. You click a button. You can be a missionary by clicking a button. One day at a time. Hebrew, Aramaic, and when we get into the New Testament, Koine Greek. In the world. It was written in, and how it was written, how who was expressing what to whom and why. And yet it always comes home to Yeshua. Today we close a book. By the way, tomorrow, day eighty-nine. Wow. But today we close Ekchodos. Shemut Exodus. By the way, if this teaching feeds you, I wrote a book called True Word Faith for Life. I know. And it's available at TruewordFaithforLife.com store. Who knew? Couldn't have made it easier. By the way, it's available every at it anywhere. It's not like, you know. It's not like it's hidden. It's all over the place. But we do best when you purchase it from us. Yeah, we're closing this book. Can you imagine? That book says things, true word faith for life, by moi, says things I can't say on the air. A lot of things I can't say on the air. So I encourage you to get it, maybe get one for a friend. Link down below. Before we open the text today, maybe put this in the chat or if you're listening on Playback Comments, wherever you're listening, doesn't matter. We're streaming to five different places right now. We're on every podcast platform there is. Whatever one you like, go find us, bookmark us, follow us, subscribe us, review us, whatever. Do what you want to do. But just know every time you do that, it makes a difference for this ministry. This is a mission I'm on, and quite frankly, it's killing me. And I'm gonna do it as long as I can. Why? Because I think the world needs this. Doesn't need more of me. Trust me, the world doesn't need more of me. It isn't about me. It needs more of the word. Explained, taught. Accurately. By the way, looking over live chat, it's vibrant already this morning. Thank you to all of you who have woken up early, and some of you very, very early. The wee hours of the morning. But your house is quiet. It's dark. We pray for all of you, all of your struggles, for Miss Tammy, for Linda, Susan, Robbie, Nicole, Dragonfly Three Wings, Miss Colleen. Thank you all for the sound, sound tech advising. And if I missed any of you, it's scrolling kind of quickly, so thank you, Robbie. Appreciate it. We continue to pray for Miss Sheryl and has a massive surgery, and her recovery is insanely, mind-bogglingly awesome. We pray for Linda. You've been through it, girl. I pray you get a break. For Susan, for the passage of time, such precious time with your mother. 102 years old, I think.
unknownWow.
SPEAKER_01And then for all of you, for all of you. We pray also for Virginia Creek Ministries. For Pastor Russ and Miss Kathy. Laboring for the Lord all these years. Unreal. For all the sweet people there. And for Grace Community Topso that we thank thank God that we're in the new building and everything has come together. And we just pray that they'll be blessed. It's a lot of work. To build a building is so much work. It's high risk. So having said all that, I you know, look, this is this. If we're not gonna be real, by the way, people wonder what this is, and when I'm doing all these motions, there I I have a spinal cord injury, and I have um the brain injury and massive internal injuries and all that, and as a result of that, you have things that happen, you know, like lightning. So anyway, so I hope it doesn't distract you. I try to contain it, but sometimes so I mean I I don't really know why we do this thing if we're not going to be honest. I I enter the agreement, the unspoken agreement, the conditions, that you will never be restrained from being honest because I'm not, from being vulnerable because I'm not. What's the wilderness you're standing in right now? The season with no arrival date on it. Man, you're in the middle of the wilderness, the darkness, the wind, the storm. Just name it. You put it in there, and I'll be praying over these as they come in. I want to remind you also that August 15th through the, I think 23rd, you will only be able to hear this on YouTube. True Word, Faith for Life with Dr. Sean, S-H-A-W-N. It's the only place you'll be able to hear it at all. Lots of reasons for that, but we don't have time to go into it now, but it is what it is. Chapter 40 opens with a date, and God chose it on purpose. Verse 2 on the first day of the first month you shall set up the tabernacle. Now, catch what that date means. Israel walked out of Egypt in the middle of the first month, a year before. So this is almost exactly one year to the day from the night of the Passover, one year from the blood on the doorposts, one year from walking out of slavery with bread that had no time to rise. One year. A lot can happen in one year. In that one year, I just said a lot can happen in one year. The natural retort for believers is when God is in it. And also when God isn't invited into those three hundred and sixty-five days. One year. And in that one year, God took a people who had nothing, who were nothing, who belonged to Pharaoh, and he turned them into a nation with his own house standing in the center of the camp. By the way, how is Miss Sheryl? Is she still making this incredible recovery, Joe? And Miss Sherle, if you're listening, you might be catching on some rest, recovering. Uh just know we're praying. Man, that was a serious one. That's a season. See, that's a season. We're living this. I don't use that as an example, but it just occurred to me. I just named off some names. Some folks that have been in a season. These are just people in my close orbit. Miss Gerald's been in a season, and thereby Joe has been in a season. Linda's been in a season. Susan in a season. Robbie in a season. Tammy in a season. Dragonfly Three Wings. I don't know your life, but you've you said that when I met you briefly that one time, you're in a season. And Nicole, you've you've been very beautifully vulnerable. A season. Susan, what a season. One amazing long life closing. Day by day. A little closer to glory. Sean. Spelled correctly. In a season. Look, man, we don't none of us, none of us escape this season. None of us. I'm in a season. It will end with my death. Not to be all, you know, and thereby Miss Colleen is watching me slowly, gradually die. Yeah, not figuratively, literally. If you're in the middle, maybe, maybe, maybe it's all escaped you. Maybe, maybe you're a person listening in I don't throw rocks at you because things are beautiful and perfect for you. Hey, maybe. Maybe for you, that season existed a long time ago. I have a dear friend. Dee. Beautiful, petite. In her 70s, looks like she's in her 40s. Uh Dee and Larry, people I've loved forever. I'm gonna get to see them soon. Lord willing. I absolutely adore them. They've been very successful in every way imaginable. And one day there was a car crash. And it killed a bunch of teenagers that they knew and loved. And shared blood. Kin. And in an instant they were gone. I remember the day. It was devastating. There are people listening now who I know that they're listening because they message me and they tell me. They say things to me every not every day, but many days. Hi, Kelly. Kelly, I have not seen that. You're about the eighth person to ask me, have I seen the Carpenter Sun? I have not. I have not. But welcome. Thank you so much for listening on YouTube. So I say that. People would look at Dee and Larry and that family and say, Y'all got a good man. Y'all got a good. Everything is so smooth. And then every night when she and the rest of her family lay their head on that pillow, they're kids. Yesterday, today is August 6th. Yesterday there's a whole lot of gold stars. Gold star mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters. Gold star children. Extortion 17. Largest single day loss of DevGrew or Navy SEALs at all. Devgrew Gold Team. Gone. Army, Army crew of the helicopter gone. SEAL DOG Gone in an instant. Seasons. Look, all I can say is this: if you're in year one of something excruciatingly difficult right now, sit with that for a second. Sit with what I just said about what God has done in the Israelites' lives in one year. God can do a great deal in a year. Somebody sent me a message yesterday. Footprints in the sand. That's been my life the last 365 days, and how grateful I am. Amen. Amen. And Nicole says, Be still and know that I am God, Psalm 46, 10. He is the calm in the eye of the storm. He will see you through. Amen. Listen, by the way, I know that there are people listening in all in the different platforms that I can't see your comments until I go to each platform and I look at it. But the thing is that they're temporary, they go away. I don't know your life. But somebody sent me a message. And it was a beautiful, sweet, kind message. I don't know the person. They did not leave their name, only their handle, and I won't give that for purposes of privacy, but they asked me. They said, apparently they're a physician because their medical knowledge was incredible. And they said, hey, this is the specialty that I'm in. Sounds, you know, sounds to me like you're having some struggles. Would you be willing to share some of them with me? I might be able to help. And when I explained all of them, on the hope that it wasn't some sort of scam or trying to rip me off. Clone my accounts or whatever. By the end of that, he or she, don't know which, said, Oh my God. Literally, and I quote, Oh my God, how are you still here? It's not because I'm strong. It's because God brings me through. And when He's finished bringing me through, He'll bring me too. And I said, Do you mind my asking why you asked, why you went to the trouble of sending me this message? It was a beautiful message. It was really sweet. And the follow-up messages also were very kind. And if you're listening now, thank you. That meant a lot. They did say. Speaking of vulnerability, they did say, I kind of thought maybe, you know, it was some like a shtick or something. Like a character. Like how how can you be happy and laugh and smile and crack jokes and all that stuff and be in the middle of that? Because the hope I have. The hope I have in this scripture that I teach, that for decades I've studied at the deepest, deepest levels. The fact that I have multiple doctorates has nothing to do with what I know about this book. I turn and get it, but I'm telling you right now, if I turn my body, I will fall over. Not an easy night. I ask for your prayers. Pray also for Miss Colleen. Because if it ain't easy for me, it ain't easy for her. So I say that to say this, you know, study the word. I know this has no place really in this, except for study the word, dig deeper. Don't get sucked into this whole fiefdom, this silo study of the word. Well, I'm really into eschatology, you know, end times. Study, study, study, study, study that to the exclusion of everything else. Well, I'm really into um Old Testament Hebrew and Torah and study, study, study, study, study to the exclusion of anything else. Well, I only study the New Testament. Um, you know, I don't care for the Old Testament. Okay, well, then you don't care for the Word of God. You don't care for the voice of God. Well, it's the age of the law. No, it's not. No, it's not. It's the foundation of everything. And if you don't understand that, you don't understand the New Testament. You cannot possibly understand the New Testament and what beauty there is until you understand the old. Why do I say this? Why am I taking this time? A lot can happen in a year. You might be sitting there thinking, well, how am I ever going to learn it? How am I going to learn it? Somebody sent me a message the other day. Look, I'm I how am I going to learn it like you? Listen, I know preachers who have forgotten more than I'll ever know, especially now. Have a brain injury. Real talk. I spoke multiple languages. I don't remember any of them. I know people that knew me when I used to be able to do a lot of things. Can't tie my shoes. I'm not saying this for sympathy. I'm saying a lot can change in a moment. What are you filling your moments with? You say, why? Why at the end? Why at the end of Echodos? Why? Why are you having this conversation at the end of Echodos? Exodus. Shimon. Why? We've finished a book that most people dread. Today's the last day of it. And listen, I want you. It's Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus. I want you to put a pen in tomorrow. Put it on your calendar. You do not want to miss it. I pray to God I'm here for it. Don't be intimidated by the word or by looking at anything that I do and going, I'll never know that much. It's not about knowing that much. It's about touching the word every day intentionally, not just on church day. Like if you go to church, if you're relying on the pastor, no matter how great your pastor is, for your relationship with God, man, you're you're on the wrong path. It will never happen, no matter how great. There are many incredible pastors out there. They teach the word. And still, it's not enough. If you go to a small group, not enough. Sunday school, not enough. Touch his word every day, intentionally on purpose. Talk to God, have a conversation with God, listen to God, be still and know that I am God. Being still is shushing. So here's the text. None of that had anything really to do with today, other than an exhortation, an encouragement for you to stop being passive about your faith. Then Moses raises it. By the way, I said something about being siloed in your study. There are things that you're interested in, and I and I'm and I encourage you to study those things and study the whole text of scripture. And absolutely, the reason I'm doing this is I don't make any money on it. It's costing me. There are many that have helped. But your help has been amazing. I physically cannot imagine how God is going to sustain me to do this every day. I don't know. But I know this. What I pray, the foundation I pray that I'm laying here, is that you will listen to God. You will listen to what I'm trying to teach you. And that it will stir in you a desire to pick up his word. I'm so tempted to turn my body and pick up the Bible, but I'm telling you right now, if I do it, that'll be that. My spine is jacked. Here's the text. Hang with me. Hang with me. I know it's very fractured today. Yes, Nicole, it's a layering effect. Each day, a layer is peeled away, and we come to know the Lord. There, this is not a destination. Destination Heaven. If you haven't placed your faith in Christ in a little bit, I'm going to teach you how. I'm going to show you. I'll do it with you. Destination heaven. Not everybody's going to heaven, my friend. I know you hate it. You hate thinking of it. But it's true. There is a heaven. The heaven. And there is a hell. The hell. And there's a very distinct line. And it's not how good you are, not how churchy you can sound, not how many church words you can do. It's, do you know the Lord? Have you placed your faith in him? We'll talk more about that in a minute. So here's the text. Then Moses raises it, and the text walks us through the assembly piece by piece, and that phrase we heard yesterday comes back one more time. He set up the boards as the Lord commanded Moses. He put in the ark as the Lord commanded Moses. The table, the lampstand, the altar of incense, the basin, as the Lord commanded Moses, eight more times in this one chapter. And then verse 33. So Moses finished the work. Finished. You remember that from yesterday? That's creation language. By the way, let me address one thing. I know I started this thing off with 20 minutes. It was going to be 20 minutes. Remember? Day one, 20 minutes. And everybody told me people are not going to listen. They're not going to listen to any more than 20 minutes. They'll bear to listen. And the analytics, listen, only 4% of you have clicked on all notifications. 4% of you. Only 11.6% of you, regular listeners, have subscribed to True Word Faith for Life with Dr. Sean, S-H-A-W-N. And even a tinier percent have clicked on the all notifications. That's reality. That's just reality. Why do I say that? I say that because somebody is sitting out there scrolling, doom scrolling on their phone, or they're on their iPad or whatever. Man, and and and and their their hope is for meaning, and they can't find it. They can't find it. We know where it is. I don't know how to make that clearer. Dragonfly Three Wings says, I never realized scripture really is living word. I see that now. I experience that now. It's the most incredible and miraculous thing I've ever experienced. Amen. Let me tell you this. I'm just gonna I'm just gonna tell you real. Okay, before I got hurt, I I read in the top just under 1% of the world. I could read a book in less than an hour. Whole book. I could read the Bible in Miss Colleen can tell you. I had a freakish weird brain, and I had a freakish weird um visual um acuity. And for whatever reason, I was born with it, and I could read, I could actually read two books side by side, two totally different books. You pick the books, read them, test me on them, and I would do it. Can't do it now. But Miss Colleen knows this to be true. Even then, when I would read scripture, it wasn't like a movie. Every other book like a movie. When I would read scripture, it wasn't, it was a struggle. And I realized the problem with understanding wasn't academia. I had lots of academic accomplishment. It was right here. And if you're listening on audio, I'm pointing to my chest where my totally jacked up heart is. It wasn't a knowledge part, it was a heart part, a soul part, the connection between head and heart. And I'm telling you, thank you. Thank you, brother. God bless you. I appreciate that. To be continued 25 says, praying for you, brother, and Virginia Creek Church is praying for you too. Virginia Creek Campground. I appreciate that. Praying for you guys too. I love you guys. It's one of the most unique experiences you'll ever have. If you're ever in Surf City, North Carolina, Virginia Creek Ministries, it's amazing. I did. Miss Colleen has said, I have tested him. It was amazing. He thought everyone was able to do it. I thought everyone could see visually, like I could. And I thought everyone could do the things I did. I just thought they didn't. I thought the issue was laziness. I didn't think, you know, I just, I was born with it. So how do I know? You know, yeah, I knew I was super weird and different. So then I pretended to be not as smart because that wouldn't have fit in in my family. That have made me a target, and it would have made me a target everywhere I went. To my detriment, I chose that path. You remember that word finished? From yesterday. If you listened yesterday, if you didn't, go back and listen to that day. Day 87, I believe it was. That's creation language. That's why the Old Testament is so important. The same word that ended Genesis 2. The work was completed. Everything God had said on the mountain now stood exactly as he said it in the middle of wilderness. And then verse 34, and I want to read it slowly because this is the sentence the entire book of Echodos or Exodus has been walking toward. It's been dragging you along, bringing your chains and your and your weights and your burden, and your guilt, and your shame, and your fear. Exodus has been walking toward this. Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. The glory came down. The cavot, the weight of God, the goodness Moses had begged him. He begged to see it. From the cleft of the rock, it came down and it filled the house, and they had built with their own hands. Filled the house they had built with their own hands to the specific detail. Official scooter mafia. Listen, I know you're typing on your mom's internet from her basement or from that little room. But I'd encourage you to grow up, man, and just listen. It's silly. It's silly to go from to get on YouTube, which is free, which is the only way you can do it, and skip from thing to thing. He's not dead. And one day, one day, there is a heaven and a hell. And in a little bit I'm gonna tell you how to place your faith in Christ. If you continue choosing this path, you will find maybe sooner than you can imagine, because official scooter, mafia, life comes with risks. You never know. You never know. They built this house. I'm proving it right now. I'm proving it right now. Just listen. Listen. Amen. Dragonfly Three Wing says, forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do. Amen. The childishness. The sense of arrogance and self-indulgment. The sense of entitlement. The hedonistic pursuit of pleasure and recreation rather than production. It's unfortunate and it's deadly. Listen, it came down. The glory of the Lord came down and it filled the house they had built with their own hands. There's a detail in Hebrew that should make you smile, and I want you to smile. Let me ask you this, official scooter boy. Um you say nice book written by man. Do you believe any other books written by man? They're not my flock. They're not my flock. And if I am a fool, I'm a fool for the Lord. It's tragic. You're probably an intelligent person. You've been gifted with certain things. I don't know. I don't know your life. I don't even know who you are. But I know this. It is tragic to me that this is how you spend your life. This is how you waste your life away. A life that could be so much more. Go to TrueWord. He says he wants ones with evidence and test. And so I would say this also: you are more than welcome to scan all the way through over 4,000 videos. Um, I don't know how many blog posts and study guides I've done, but on TruewordfaithforLife.com, the study guides all have annotated bibliographies in Turabian style. They're all copyrighted. So if you copy them, copy the copyright too. There's all of that there. I'm helping you. I'm helping you. You ask, who are you helping? I'm helping you if you'll accept it. If you don't, the path that you're on, believe me, perhaps sooner than you can ever imagine will end up in a hell that you cannot. There's no inconsistencies in the Bible. I would encourage you, go listen. Go read the blog, read the study guide, go to True Word Faithful Life with Dr. Sean, S-H-A-W-N on YouTube, about 4,000 subscribers, and and listen. Dig in. But listen, don't wait for your bias to be confirmed. Don't go in with a preconceived notion. Listen and learn. I don't say that arrogantly. Now, back to the teaching. There's a detail in Hebrew. I tell you when I read it every time, it makes me smile. Verse 35 says the clouds settled on the tent. Your English Bible might say settled or rested or abode, but the Hebrew verb is shakan. Shekhan. It's like a combination of shakakan, shakakan. You know. Well, that's the root of meshan, the dwelling place. It's the very word God used back in chapter 25 when he said, Let them make me a sanctuary that I may dwell among them. So, whatever your translation prints, hear what the narrator is doing. The dwelling finally dwelt. The word God once spoke as a desire is now the word used as a plain fact. He said he wanted to move in, and now he moved in. And do you feel the size of that? Do you feel the size of it? After where we've been, do you feel the size of that? Because seven chapters ago, God said something devastating. He said, I will not go up into your midst, because you are a stiff-necked people. The Bible says the people mourned. Moses pleaded, if your presence doesn't go with us, then don't send us up from here. And God relented and said, My presence will go with you. This right here is Him keeping that promise. Not from a distance, not through an angel, not as a compromise. The glory came all the way down and it filled the middle of the camp of the people who only one year ago were slaves. And eight chapters ago were dancing around some stupid golden camp. They built. That's who God is. In only a year. He said he'd dwell among them. And every reason, every reason not to, it came and went. And he did it anyway. By the way, we need to also, amen. I agree with you, Tubi. Continued 25. Evil spirit, lost soul. Official scooter mafia, lost soul. It's tragic. It really is. We need to also have in our prayers uh one of the faithful. Miss Sharon is soon to have a very, very yet another major surgery. She's a dear lady, loves the Lord, pursues him, studies him daily. The wonderful mom, wife, daughter, sister, friend. The challenges of life, right? Listen, that's who God is. I'll use the analogy. I hope you guys don't mind. I've named several who have just within the past few weeks had really major surgery. Who are in the midst of major, major struggle. And when you go into it, you think this is going to be like this for how long? How this is how long is this going to go on? Because I don't know if I can take it. I get it. When we're in it, we think it's going to be forever. When we're on the front end of it, we think it's going to be forever. I will not always suffer like this. One day, God will put me, as undeserving as I am, in front of Yeshua. He won't say, Well done, thou good and faithful servant, because I haven't been that and I haven't done that. But I will tell you this. I will be healed, I will be made whole. And for eternity I will be in heaven with him. A blink. It's a blink in time. A year. You look back over your life and you think, Whoof, that year went fast. Yet when we were in it, we thought, man, I never thought that would end. The Israelites, a year, year ago, they were slaves. And only eight chapters ago, they were dancing around a stupid golden calf that they used their own gold that they had accumulated over time to melt down and make. Oh, lands. And they gave the credit for everything beautiful that is how while Moshe or Moses is up on the mountain hearing from God. If you didn't hear that, go back. Go back and start from the beginning. Why not? It's free. Why would you not take advantage of it? Listen, um, somebody told me, they said they're never going to listen to these long podcasts. I've had several and many dear friends. And I've tried like anything to do something different than a you know long-form podcast. Costs me immensely financially. We don't make any money on this. We it costs us money. The buzz sprout alone, populating out. That's why I talk about the the um I talk about the podcast, the audio-only podcast. Like any anywhere you get podcasts, we're there. Well, that's expensive. You say, oh no, it's free. No, it's not. It's not free for me. That costs us probably 250 bucks a month. Just that. I say that to say this. Go back and listen. If I'm paying for it, go back and listen. Costs you nothing. But people said, people have sent me messages and they're friends. They say, hey, nobody's gonna listen that long thing. Internet is all about short hit algorithm rewards that. This is not the ministry God has given me to do. It's not the mission he's given me. I'm telling you, he made it very clear. Teach with depth. Depth. Teach with the ancient Near Eastern language, culture, and context. Let them know. Explain it to them. Whoever them are. Do it how I told you to do it. I told you about an artist, phenomenally talented artist I've known since childhood. And they were struggling. They couldn't figure out what to paint, and nobody was buying their paintings and giant wall-sized paintings. And and uh I said, just paint what God tells you to paint. Stop painting what you think man will buy and paint what God tells you to paint. And they never did it. Epistemics, uh, see what that says, epistemic forge. What kind of doctor are you? Air quotes. I'm no kind of doctor, not a medical doctor. You know, I have doctors in theology, two of them.
SPEAKER_00No big deal, man. You're much smarter than me. I'm sure of it.
SPEAKER_01I I I don't know how to drive this point home, and I don't know why God laid this on my heart, but ultimately it comes down to this. Some of you, by the way, are worried. You're just like, man, how do all these weird people, how come all of a sudden they're coming into this? When you're not doing what the Lord, when you're not in his mission, when you're not on mission, the devil could care less. Devil doesn't care. But when you do, when you do, that's when the freaks come out. Yeah, theology. That wouldn't be hard. Since it's theology, you're right, you're way smarter. I concede that.
SPEAKER_00I hand that argument to you, you win. But these these freaks come out, and some of them are demonic.
SPEAKER_01Some of them are evil. I don't mind them if they're if if if they're not trying to be disruptive. Listen, one of them place their faith in Christ. He listened, there was two that specifically that were in that group, Internet Mafia, where they just go from one thing to the other, destruct and and distract and cause chaos in the live chat. They just find religious, faith-oriented things, and then they go in and they try to destroy.
SPEAKER_00Two of them. They did what I asked.
SPEAKER_01Just listen. Let your let your heart be open. I'm not saying you have to accept it. Listen, we can part as as um amicably as possible. I don't have any animus toward you. Be respectful. Don't use profanity, you know, while you're here. Don't try to disrupt. If you have real questions, not those stupid things. So why do we get these tormented souls in our studies? So, Robbie, the reason we do is because when we're doing what God has asked us to do, and believe you me, I am no perfect, I'm I'm dumb. Epistemic forges trying to make the make the case. Yeah, I'm dumb. Okay, I'm dumb. I'm dumb. You don't, you know, you're protesting religious delusions. Okay. Why? Atheist isn't, well, you don't believe in God. Atheist is against God by the very definition. They come out because it's making an impact, and the enemy is shaking and desperate. And that's why you're right, Nicole. That's why, that's why they do it.
SPEAKER_00That's why they do it and they're lost.
SPEAKER_01Well, the two that I'm thinking of recently that placed their faith in God, they did what I asked. Just be patient. Just set aside your biases that you're trying to every day confirm. And just listen. And then they listened a little bit more and a little bit more. And then eventually, eventually, they place their faith in Christ. And their whole life is turned around. They live in total polar opposites of the world.
SPEAKER_00And they're probably here now.
SPEAKER_01Epistemic Forge, this will be the last time I I um, yeah, Dragonfly Three Wings, trolls sitting behind their keyboards, aka the modern day bridge, just like in the story, 100%. But Epistemic Forge says, because it brings demonstrable harm. He he he thought he was typing demonstrable, but what he actually typed is demon stable harm. Isn't that ironic? Or is it and good as a matter of fact? The scale is just uneven. First of all, it's silly. Brainwashing and makes people disregard logic and epistem. You know, I have science degrees as well. I haven't disregarded that.
SPEAKER_00The origin of science is anyway. We've heard from you enough. You disagree, move on.
SPEAKER_01If you're if you're unwilling to listen and all you want to do is try to disrupt and destroy, move on.
SPEAKER_00It's tragic, I tell you. It's tragic. That's who God is. He said he dwell among them. And the people and we give them every reason not to came and went.
SPEAKER_01And he did it anyways. You see, in the live chat today, if you if you haven't seen that, you can replay live chat. I'll make it available. Uh, if you listen on playback, you can see the people coming into the chat. And their whole goal is to disrupt and cause chaos and discord and all these things. They're not saving anybody, they're not helping anyone. But the whole reason, the whole reason for that, if in a moment they heard some word or something happened in their life, it's not going to be proof, it's not going to be evidence. There's there's there's reams, there are libraries full of evidence. There's never been one find, archaeological find, not one that has ever disproven anything in scripture, only the other way around. And let me tell you something, faith. You have faith every time you flip the light switch, light will go on. You have faith every time you get on that bus or get behind that wheel of that car that you're gonna make it home. Faith. It's a funny thing, faith is, but God just a year ago, just a year ago, maybe a minute ago, you were one of these people. We battle not against flesh and blood playing out in real time, amen. The battle has been won. It's time to choose before he comes for a spotless bride. Amen. We are not perfect, we are washed in the blood of the Lord. I will say this. In a moment, any of those who are, you know, this is their life, this is this is what they consider productive, in a moment, if they if they suddenly realized their need for Yeshua, their need for God, and they they they ask for forgiveness of their sins, their hurts, their habits, their hangups. And they place their faith in Christ, even though they don't understand everything. Even that past of of living a demonic life in a moment.
SPEAKER_00In one moment, they will become a child of God. God said, I will remember your sins no more.
SPEAKER_01In other words, I'm not gonna hold them against you ever. I won't bring them up like in a fight between a husband and wife, boyfriend and girlfriend. I will remember them no more. God said he'd dwell among them, even though they gave him every reason not to. And then verse 35 says something to me that is utterly startling.
SPEAKER_00It breaks my heart. It really does. It breaks my heart. Verse 35. It does.
SPEAKER_01It breaks my heart. I don't know how to Moses was not able to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
SPEAKER_02Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? Moses, Moshe.
SPEAKER_01I want you to think about what we're talking about, who we're talking about here. This is the same dude who walked up into the fire on a mountain and stayed 40 days. The man who spoke with God face to face the way a man speaks with his friend. The man who stood in the cleft of the rock while the glory passed by. And now he's standing at the door of a tent he just finished building, and he cannot go in. Because God is too much in there. And that tells you two true things at once, and you need both. You need both. The nearness is real. God is here. God is here in the camp, closer than he has ever been, and he is still holy. Access is by no means casual. Quite the opposite. The tent is full of the weight of God. And even Moses stands outside. Hold that tension for a second. Pinch it right there. Because it's the exact ache the rest of the Bible is going to answer for you if you give it the chance. Oh, I've tried reading the Bible and it's just a bunch of gobdagod. Oh, it contradicts itself. It does this, it does that. No, it doesn't. When you understand it, no, it doesn't. When you understand it in the ancient Near Eastern language, culture, and context, you say, Well, I want to understand it. I'm going to give it a chance. I gave it a chance, but it didn't. You spent five minutes and you concluded in that five minutes of time that library of 66 books written over hundreds and hundreds of years. By many different authors. And somehow, the tether is the same. They didn't have text messaging. Somehow. And then the book ends. Echodos Shemot Exodus ends, and look how it ends. When the cloud lifted, the people set out. When it didn't lift, they stayed put. The cloud of the Lord was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in it by night, in the sight of all Israel, throughout all their journeys. Come on. Somebody tell me they're getting this. That's the last line of Exodus. And notice what it isn't. Notice what it is not. It is not. And they entered the promised land. They're not there. They're not close. They're standing in a wilderness with years of wandering still ahead. And the book ends anyway, and it ends in triumph because the presence of God is in the middle of the camp and he is going with them wherever they go. Come on. If that's not a victory, I don't know what is. You've been on your knees, tears have been streaming down your face. The floor is wet with your tears. It hadn't come yet. You may be standing in a wilderness season with no arrival date. You can't even see an arrival date on the calendar. You look page by page and you keep going. Next one, next one, next one. And you still can't see it, man. You look on the horizon, you look out over the ocean, you look up in the mountains, you can't see it. You say, Man, I don't know when this wilderness will be over. I am tired of living in the wilderness. In my weakest moments, I have said to Miss Colleen, and I hate what it does, because it puts on her shoulder something that she shouldn't have to carry. In the worst of the days, and they get worse. It seems like every day they get worse. I say, I don't know how much longer. And the doctors look at us and they shake their heads. I've actually had physicians say, if I am dealing with what you're dealing with, I would have ended my life. And I'm not recommending that to you. And I probably shouldn't have said that. And now I'm really upset you're going to report me. No, I said no, I appreciate the honesty. I don't say that for you to feel sorry for me. That's not the point of it. The point of it is, I'm in a wilderness, you're in a wilderness. Some of you are, you have been told when you thought you got years ahead of you. You've been told, listen, you've got this terrible, terrible thing in you. And the stopwatch has started. And it is ticking backward. And soon, your life will end, and there is nothing we can do for you. We can try to slow it down. I was supposed to be dead a long time ago. Miss Colleen has been standing right next to me when the doctors looked us right in the face and said, Get your affairs in order. When I was 47, when I was fifty, just a few years ago. And then one looked us in the eye and said, You're living on the razor's edge of life and death. Keep short accounts with God, my friends. I hope you understand. The book of Exodus ends right there on purpose. It does it because it's telling you that the presence of God in your wilderness, it isn't a consolation prize. It's the whole promise. He isn't waiting for you at that destination. He's in the middle of the camp, in the middle of the struggle, in the middle of the illness, in the middle of the lack, in the middle of the grief, in the middle of the sorrow. He's right there with you. And the fire is burning over your tent right now, whatever it is you're going through. So here's your here's your one thing today. Half of this, I know. I don't, it's crazy. I I'm just gonna do what he tells me to do. We'll figure out how to pay for it, we'll figure out how to, I don't know. One day you're gonna click into this, and I'm not gonna be here, and I'm sorry for that. I don't know what to tell you. However, here's your one thing today. I hope you write it down. I hope you take notes. I hope you come back to this and listen again. Here's your one thing. It's one. I'm not asking for a big thing. It's small, but it changes everything. Little things don't. Linda and Susan, Miss Colleen, little things don't mean a lot. They mean everything. Stop postponing your life with God until you arrive. Stop it. Stop it. Before you sleep tonight, go to one quiet spot. Intentionally. It's probably in your mind right now. Before you go to sleep tonight, go to one quiet spot and out loud, by name, thank God for being with you in the exact wilderness you're standing in right now. Not the wilderness you're praying to get out of, the one you're in. Name the season. And thank him that he's already here. You don't have to reach the land to be with him. He's already moved into your camp. And let me say this yesterday, just yesterday, I was coming home from therapy, and I'll just say her name. Dr. Walker has been extraordinary to me. I've I have had the best care. Sometimes I think my childhood best friend is disappointed that I haven't died on any of the dates. And he says all the time, he says, you know, I don't know why you listen to this medical team. They haven't been right ever. It's not that they haven't been right. They've been right every time. It's just God has been in control. I don't deserve it. I don't. He's got a mission for me to do, and I'm trying to do it. But I do. I think sometimes people look at me and go, weren't you supposed to be dead a bunch of years ago? Aren't you terminally ill? Yeah. Sometimes it happens that way. Sorry to disappoint. But as I drove home yesterday, I said the wilderness. Father, I'm in the wilderness, but thank you that I don't have to be in this wilderness alone, that you're with me, and you've assigned people that aren't even believers in you. Some of them aren't even believers. Some of the physicians I've had, I've had since the beginning. My medical dean is huge. It's a massively complex situation. I've got specialists from every possible thing you can think of. And they're all top-notch. I've had the same physical therapist every week, the same person for years. And she is kind but effective. I'm her favorite patient and her least favorite patient. I've heard that multiple times from many of my caregivers. I say that to say this. I say that to say this. I want you to hear it. Please, please, please, please, please, please hear this. So, Robert, I'm gonna address this because it needs to be addressed. Dr. Sean, I've been to the door, you know, death's door, numerous times. I can't understand why I'm still here starting from birth. Let me say this to you. Stop wondering. Because you know what that is? I've been there. I've asked myself a million times. I've if you knew my life, I've lived a very kinetic life. Starting from military on, I'm telling you, I've been at the death's door many times. I'm asking you to let that go. Robert, I'm asking you to let that go. Let that whole wondering, why am I still here? Focus the time, whatever time God gives you, be it long or short, whatever wilderness you've been through or in, focus on knowing Him. Focus on following Him. Take the eyes off of me. Um, if you're on the audio only audience, I'm I'm tapping my chest. Take your eyes off of you and look toward the Lord. I'm telling you, that's where the answer is. There are people who will never listen to me, but they'll listen to you. They're in your orbit right now. Every thread, every thread of all of this. Run straight to Yeshua. Start with the glory that filled the house. John says, John the revelator, Jochanan. He says, The word became flesh and pitched his tent among us, and we beheld his glory. That same kavod that filled the tabernacle, put on a body, and walked through Galilee. And where the glory in the tent made even Moses stay outside, this glory sat down with tax collectors and let children climb up into his lap. The same glory is now approachable. Then I want you to take that ache from verse 35, the door Moses couldn't walk through. The book of Hebrews in the New Testament answers it head on. It says we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Yeshua, by the new and living way he opened for us through the veil, and that is through his flesh. So let us draw near what Moses could not do, standing outside a tent full of glory. You are invited to do this morning because the veil is torn from top to bottom. It could have only come from God. The way is open, and the blood has been applied. And it doesn't stop there at Pentecost. A sound like a rushing wind filled the house, and fire came and it rested on people, not on a tent, on people. And Paul says it plainly. The dwelling moved one more time, and this time it moved inside. And the very last book of your Bible shows you where it all lands, a voice from the throne saying, Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man, and he will dwell with them. From a garden to a tent to a manger to a cross, to your own heart, to a city that needs no temple, because the Lamb is its temple. It is always, it was always the same story. God closing the distance between him and you. We now close Exodus. Thank you for being with me. If you've been with me this whole time, thank you for joining me. He said he wanted to dwell among them, and then he did. Whatever he said to you, whatever he has said to you, the whole record of this book is that God finishes what he starts, and he doesn't. He does it even when the people have promised. The people he promised, the people he gave the promise to have already broken the faith. You can keep waiting for the arrival to let him near, or you can let him move into the wilderness with you today. Thank you, Robbie. I'm just a regular dude, brother. You can let him move into the wilderness with you today. And listen, if you've never let him move in at all, the door is open right now. There is no cloud keeping you out. Prayer isn't asking for an easy journey. It's asking for strong back. Let's pray. Father, thank you that you're not waiting for us at the finish line. Thank you that you moved into the middle of the camp, into the wilderness, into our wilderness, into their wilderness, into the exact season. We've all been begging to escape. For the one listening who has been surviving on their own, certain that you were far off. Father, let them feel the fire over their tent right now. I ask that you teach us that your presence in the wilderness was never the consolation prize. It was always the whole promise. And I thank you that the door Moses couldn't walk through stands wide open to us now. Through the torn veil of your son Yeshua, I pray this in his name. In the name of Yeshua Hamashiach, Jesus, the Messiah, our Redeemer, our Lord and Savior, our friend, Amen. I said it before. If today is the day that you, you stop waiting to arrive and you let Him move in. If you want the glory that filled that tent to fill you, then pray this with me and mean it. Pray this with me. You are talking to our Savior, our Redeemer, and our friend. You don't need to understand it all. You just need to understand this. Pray with me. Yeshua Jesus, Yeshua, I need you. I believe you died for me and you rose from the grave. I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me. Fill me. Lead me. I'm yours. In your name, Amen. If you prayed that, and you meant it, then the glory that filled the tent has come to fill you, and you are his dwelling place now. Tell somebody today. If you want to tell me, tell me. You may tell somebody, you may tell somebody that you believe as a believer based on what they've said and what they've done. And and but you know what? They're behaving differently now. You've you've said to them, I today I placed my just a little bit ago, I placed my faith in the Lord, and I wanted to tell you. And they look at you with some weird look, and they go, You they don't get it. Don't worry about it. Don't worry about it. You tell somebody that doesn't believe in God, any number of the people listening and commenting, trying to disrupt, and you tell them, and they tell you how stupid you are, how unscientific you are, how the how the word of God is not the word of God. It's just some scribblings of some crazy, crazy men. Just smile at them and say, I just wanted to tell somebody. Message me. Find a fellowship that where the word is opened and taught as best they can. There's no church that's perfect. Seriously, stop going after that. I'll help you find a good church. True Word, Faith for Life with Dr. Sean has a bazillion resources. The only one you have to pay for is my book. And of course, the Bible rebinding. That's that's not my business. She's not a sponsor. Maybe she'll give you a discount if you mention me. I don't know. There's no code, there's none of that. Those are the only things that cost you. And you pay her, not me. It's worth it. She does amazing work. But I want you, I want you to use the resources there. They're massive. They're massive. Over the course of the last, I don't know, more than 20 years. I've written over 4,000 things. 4,000. Even more than that, if you count doctoral dissertations, master's thesis, books that I haven't published. And just stuff I just wrote. That's how I'm able to do this. Resources, man. You lady, man, boy, girl, resources. There's so many resources there. All footnoted. Bibliography, the whole deal. The God who filled the tabernacle has come to live in you. And he's going with you throughout all the wildernesses, throughout all your journeys. So stop waiting at the edge of the land. The fire is already over your tent. The glory already filled your house. The God who moved into a wilderness is walking every mile of your journey in your wilderness. Welcome him. Communicate with him. Because he will not lift the cloud and leave you. Throughout all your journeys, all the way home. If this reached you today, send it to one person you know is stuck in the wilderness. Tell them the fire is over their tent too. Send them this link. I don't know. It's crazy. I want you to receive this in his heavenly name. And in Lashonakadesh, which is Hebrew for the language of God. That's the language he communicated with his people. He communicates today, and they communicated with him. Are you ready? May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. You do not want to miss tomorrow. Day 89. Until we meet tomorrow. Shalom Bishem Yeshua.
