What if you CAN'T Control THIS?

You're holding it all together. You are. Most people from the outside would they would they would agree. Yeah. It seems it. The bills. The schedule, the responsibility, so much. Your mother's medications. Keeping your father with Alzheimer's, keeping him from walking off. You don't know what you don't know where he is. You can't go through that again. Maybe it's your adult child who. They won't call you and they won't call you back. You're going to work maybe at a. You're going to work at a job. You've been there a long time, and well, now all of a sudden, over the past two years, you've been seeing disappear. Disappear, disappear, disappear. One day you're talking in a lunchroom to somebody that you consider a good work friend. You don't do anything outside. Maybe you do a little bit. And then all of a sudden, they disappear. And you realize your job could be in the next round of job cuts. You got that adjustable rate mortgage because the you know mortgage rates were two, two and a half percent, you know, and it sounded really good. Well, in sixty days, that adjustable rate adjusts upward. And you know that mortgage rate, you've calculated it, you can't pay that. You got your insurance bill, and it's seven times what you what you were paying just seven years ago. How could that be? Your tax bill is the same. You're thinking to yourself, man, I can I can't pay this. You've got every plate in the air. Not to mention, you're about seven years behind on getting your checkup, you know. You keep putting it off because everything and everybody else is more important. Every plate is in the air, and you're the only one keeping them spinning. And you're exhausted. Not you're exhausted, but yeah, not not the kind of exhausted that a not the kind of tired that a nap fixes. Although you take one, there's no time for it. It's the kind of exhausted that comes from believing that, man, if I let go of this rope for one second, if I if I look away one second, if I'm not spinning all of these plates, it all comes down and it crashes into pieces. So you don't let it go. You don't let it go. Check the bank account again. You rehearse the conversation again. You think about a uh you even think about a conversation with your boss. You can go in and talk to your boss and saying, hey, look, I got a lot going on, man. I I can't lose my job. If I'm if I'm in line for these job cuts, you gotta tell me. And your boss doesn't even know. Your boss doesn't even know. Your boss doesn't even know about their own job. That 2 a.m. wake up that you're doing up till from two to four in the morning, you finally fall ex fall asleep again from sheer exhaustion. Well, your boss is doing that too, but they're falling asleep and waking up at one in the morning, and they're so bleary-eyed when they get to work for the same reason you are. You lie awake, you're running the numbers again. You've sharpened your pencil, you've you've you've said, okay, I'm I'm gonna figure this out. You exert control because it feels like safety. It feels like the only safety you've got. But deep down, you know the truth. The biggest things in your life are the things you can't control. I don't know who I'm talking to, but maybe it's the diagnosis. Maybe you finally did make it to the doctor, or some traumatic event happened, and you went to the doctor, and you got a diagnosis that you were not expecting. And you're thinking, now what? I'm the only one. I'm the only one that can get this done, that can handle all these things. I'm the only one. And maybe you just can't, you just can't figure it out. And you've always been a person that can figure it out. You've always been able to figure it out. It's always worked out. And you can't you can't control anything now. You can't control the diagnosis, you can't control the job, you can't control the investment market, although right now the investment market is rocking. But you still worry. You can't control your adult children's choices. Sometimes those choices, they're they're made out of their own best self-interest, but they still cut you to the bone. Reality smacks you in the face like a two by four. You can't control whether the rain comes into your life. Into every life. Rain will one day fall. Take your umbrella, even on the sunny days. Here's what you need to hear this morning, and I see everyone in chat, and God bless you all. We've had uh I think 1.2 or 1.5 uh thousand people listen to yesterday's message. God once moved his people out of a country where they controlled the water and into a land where they couldn't. And God did that on purpose. And then he told them why. It's the most tender sentence about anxiety in the entire Torah. By the way, we're nearing we're nearing being finished with the Torah. Or Torah, as it is most appropriately called. People say, well. I don't read the Old Testament very much. I certainly don't read Torah, you know, that's the age of law. The new covenant, we're the new covenant. I have something to say about that. The Bible has something to say about that. God has something to say about that. I hope that when we finished Torah and we begin moving through the other books. I I hope that you look back. Especially, this is, I think, I don't know. What day is it? Tuesday the 29th. I think it's day, I don't know, day, I don't know, I don't remember. Day 126, maybe. Let's guess it, 126. Um, you know, we've been through quite a journey. And I hope by this point, if you've been with me from the beginning or somewhere thereabouts, you know, you can always go back and listen uh on um any of the podcast platforms. We're on them all. I mean, minute to minute, you say, well, I'm older and I I don't, I don't, I don't have a brain injury that I know of, and and I can't do that. Well, this this is this is on a whole nother level. So I'm constantly having to re-remind, re-remind, and I've got reminders everywhere here. Where I am and all of that. And then I've got reminders on the screen. And God has blessed us with technology, and technology is what has brought you and I together. And here's the thing: don't fear it. There's a lot of fear right now over AI and or SIs. You know, there's a there's a good chance because I spend enough time on this camera, and my life is uh pretty fragile. Um there's there's a decent chance that you know that's what's gonna happen to me. And Miss Colleen has the instructions on how to mute the mic, and if she can't find the off button, how to you know take a towel and cover the camera. Yeah, I know it's crazy, but it's there's a very good chance that's gonna happen. By the way, Miss Nicole, thank you for waking up so early. She wakes up at four in the morning. Day 126 through the Bible in a year, walking the story of God. We're in Deuteronomy 11 today. And you know, you you look back and you think, well, I don't, I mean, Deuteronomy, I I I don't think of myself as a a Deuteronomy person. I just don't picture that. You know, the Old Testament type of deal. I I don't, that just isn't what I ever thought I would I would get anything out of. You know, I just skimmed over that. When I was when I was reading my Bible back when I was reading my Bible, that I just I just skimmed over it. I just was I like staying in the New Testament, you know, New Covenant. Oh man. I hope you know by now that man, oh man, you miss out on everything. This is the foundation of our faith. Amen. Captain Cave3 Man, Caveman, welcome. I don't know how you heard about us, but welcome. So, Deuteronomy 11, it holds a picture of two lands. But they're two lands that could change how you sleep. Remember, I talked about all that stress earlier, messing with your sleep. The thing keeping you up at night right now is it controlling or trusting? One word. One or the other can't be both. Controlling or trusting. Take a deep breath because we're going in deep. Here's where we are. Israel's still on the plains of Moab. Yesterday in chapter 10, God rewrote the covenant on second stones. Wasn't that something? I mean that's today in chapter 11. Moses or Moshe, Moshe shows them the land they're about to walk into. And he does it by comparing it to the land they came from. You have to understand Egypt. Egypt Egypt almost never sees rain. Its whole life comes from one river. The Nile. Every summer the Nile floods. And when the water pulls back, when it when it when it pulls back. Farmers channel it into their fields. They dug irrigation ditches. They opened and closed little earthen channels to steer the water where they wanted it. Water in Egypt was and truly is a matter of engineering. If you worked hard enough, the river did what you told it to do. But Canaan is a completely different world. I see you, Sean spelled correctly. Amen. To all of you who were going through what I talked about in the beginning, I feel you. I feel you. The Lord works. He, if you trust the Ruakakodesh, the Holy Spirit, that's what I do to give me each of these episodes is I trust him. I just lean into him. Ms. Gyllene can tell you, I have been a guest preacher somewhere, and God has, you know, I've I've got I've known for you know two weeks what I was gonna preach about. And then God goes, hey Sean, remember that what you did all that, you know, 80 hours, 100 hours of study to put together? No, no, you're not gonna preach on that. Totally different subject. Well, Lord, I don't have the notes. Don't worry about it. I got you. And he does. And believe you me, I'm nobody special. Trust me on that. So, Sean spelled correctly. The last two nights I've woken up at 1.30 a.m. and I can't get back to sleep until about 3 or 3.30, yet my alarm is set for four to get up and go to work. God bless you. It's pretty wild. Look, Canaan is a completely different world.

There's no great river irrigating the fields. Life depends on rain. The early rain in the fall softens the ground for planting. The latter rain in the spring swells the grain before the harvest. But if either one fails, the crop fails. And the Canaanites they had a god for exactly that anxiety. Baal, Baal, the storm god, rider of the clouds, the one who supposedly sent the rain. Farmers served that God because they were terrified of a dry sky. So Israel's moving from a land of control into a land of dependence, from engineering to asking. Look, do you get it now? Why? Why is it so important to go back and look and understand? Look, we're gonna get to the New Testament. And if you think we're unraveling things that you never knew or never thought about here, what do you get there? You better get some duct tape for your head because it's gonna it's gonna be a big old explosion. So Israel is moving from this land that they have control, some sense of control, some thought of control because they're using human engineering. And now they don't have that control. They're standing with their hands, their arms outstretched. God, Father God, give us rain. Adonai Elohim, give us rain. So I have so much respect for farmers. The farmers of this of this world don't get enough respect. They're the people that bring us food. Do you understand how hard they have to work? The risk that they undergo. It's so easy. We go to the supermarket and we just pick up what we want. And we complain about the cost. Good lands, the risk that they go through to bring that food to our table. Yeah, we can have we can have conversations about uh corporate farming and and GMOs and all of these things. Sure, we could do all that. Maybe for another time, but but suffice it to say, those farmers they get up and they work until they can't barely walk. And they pray to God, please bring the rain. Or please stop the rain. Deuteronomy verse 11. Listen how listen how Moses says it. Moshe. You know, if he walked in the room, I say, hey Moses, he would, he would go, Moses. That's a name we made up. It's not a name we made up, but it's not, it's not his name, Moshe. You'll hear me say Yeshua. Uh interchangeably, I'll say Yeshua and Jesus for our new people. It's Jesus. But there's a whole thing. For the land that you are entering to take possession of, it is not like the land of Egypt from which you came. Where you sowed your seed and watered it with your feet like a garden of vegetables. Watered it with your feet. Watered it with your feet. What in the world? That's the Hebrew word for word. Braklika. Brakha with your foot. Come on! Word for word. Brakha. Watered it with your feet. With your foot. And here's where the working translations they part ways a little bit. It's okay. That's why I'm here. That's why you keep me around. The New American Standard Bible keeps the Hebrew picture. You watered it with your foot. But the ESV, the English Standard version, smooths it out to irrigate it. And puts the literal wording in a footnote. That's kind of how they deal with that. They go, well, you know what? Down here in the little fine print, this is what this means. But both are honest. They're doing an honest thing. But the foot matters. Right? It shouldn't be a footnote. Pardon the pun. I've been waiting to say that. Did you get it? Footnote. Comedy. That's free of charge at no cost or obligation to you. Don't get a toaster with it. Both are honest, but the foot really matters. That part of it really matters that you get that. In Egypt, you push the water with your own body, kicking open mud channels. The ancient Near Eastern language culture and context. You see it here? If you didn't know, with your foot, what? And some of the translators knew that we wouldn't know unless we studied it. Weirdos like me, foot kicking open the mud channels, you wouldn't get it. So they said, well, let's change this. Oh, but we miss out. Kicking open the mud channels, treading the water wheel, sending the flow where you wanted it. Your survival was the work of your own feet. That's you, isn't it? Watering your life with your own feet, pushing every channel, steering every drop. Now, verse 11, are you ready? But the land that you're going over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water by the rain from heaven. It drinks. You don't push the water there. You don't push the water there. The land lifts its face and drinks what heaven gives. Come on. And then verse twelve. This is the sentence I promised you. Take a deep breath, you're gonna need it. Come on. Somebody. Here's the sentence I promised you. Verse twelve. A land that the Lord your God cares for. The eyes of the Lord your God are always upon it. From the beginning of the year to the end of the year. Cares for. Cares for. The Hebrew is Doresh. The word is Doresh. Can you imagine? Doresh. It's spelled Dalet Eresh Shin. Most Hebrew words are three letters. It means to seek, to look after, to inquire about something again and again, cares for. It's the word you use for a mother checking on a sleeping baby. Dudesh. God is continually seeking after this land. And his eyes are on it from the first day of the year to the last. Not once a season, always. Always. In Egypt you watch the water. In the land of promise. In Egypt you watch the water, but in the land of promise, God watches you. Then comes the promise in verses 13 and 14. Oh, you can't miss this. Come on. Detach from anything distracting you right now. The enemy wants you to be distracted. He wants you to miss this. Don't let him. Don't let him distract you. Are you ready? Verses 13 and 14. If you'll love the Lord your God and serve him with all your heart and soul, I will give the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain. I will give, not Baal, not Baal, not your feet, me. And right there comes the warning. Verses 16 and 17. Take care lest your heart be deceived and you turn aside and serve other gods. If you do, he'll shut up the heavens so there's no rain. Do you see the temptation here? The minute they're dependent on rain, the local rain god starts looking very reasonable. It's looking a little dry. Let's go over there to Baal. Let's start, you know, praying a little bit to him. Yeah, maybe we'll do that. Because, you know, rain, we need it. Crops, food, eat, life. You looked at the Nile. You, you, you know, that thing always pretty much always had water in it. And now, and now we're looking up for our sustenance that ain't Egypt anymore. Remember the mountain. I talked about it yesterday. You remember, you know, Moshe comes down from the mountain. We talked about the second, the second tablet, how that happened, and the truth about all that that we don't get in the common English translations. But here's the thing. Moshe came down that first time and saw them. They had melted all their gold into a golden calf because he's like, 40 days. These people are like 40 days. What do we do? We don't have Moshe to tell us what's going on with God. You know, he's the guy that talks to him. What are we doing? We got to quit, make a God. It's always the same temptation. When you can't control something, waking up at 1.30 in the morning worried about that thing, you'll look for something that you can bargain with. And for us in the modern age, it's well, work longer, work harder. Well, um, you know, we could do this or we could do that, you know, all those things. And you've got to think. Life is thinking, but life is trusting. God, give me, give me what you want me to do here. We've got a huge decision in our lives and in my family, Miss Colleen and I. Huge decisions. And you know what? It's huge decision after huge decision. You know, major medical stuff that is risky. Extend my life by doing this, if it works out, or it doesn't work out so good. Miss Colleen's father died when she was 16, 15, 16 years old. Normal surgery. Very low risk. And I'm sure when the family started to get word, all the kids started to get word. Dad has died. What do you mean, died? This is a small surgery. This is what do you mean died? It was inconceivable. We go through those decisions every day. Weighing. But I'm telling you, God told me when I asked him, Father, show me what you want me to do. This is what he showed me. I kid you not. Hello. One Lu Wakemi. One- I'm sorry, I'm massacring your name. I've been actually to Africa several times and Nigeria. I worked in Nigeria, did some work there. So so what's the cure, right? I told you, we've got we've got big decisions coming up. We've we've got big decisions every day, but this one's a big one. You know, I'm I'm a researcher, so I research and research and research and research. 133 data points, kid you not. Started with 30 something. Now it's 133. And and it all points one direction. And but all along the way, I've learned, because I'm a knucklehead, I've learned, trust God, pray, ask God. Throughout it all, ask God. Ask him what he thinks. It's high risk. And now I'm at total peace with it. At total peace. So what's the cure? What's the cure for this massive stress in your life that wakes you at 1.30 or 2 or 3 in the morning? You roll over and you look at that clock, and you're like, oh, why couldn't it have been two hours later? Now what do I do with this time? You pray. Sounds so simple. Sounds pedantic almost. You pray. You know that all that time you didn't have for prayer that you didn't have for Bible reading? You pray. Maybe you get up and you have a little light. You get one of those little lights you put on your head. I don't know, whatever. And and if you live by yourself, maybe you turn on the light and you open this word. You say, Well, I could just open a screen on my phone. The blue light will get you. Regular light, not so much, but you open his word and you read and you pray. You say, I don't have time to pray. I don't have time to pray through my prayer list. There's your time. Believe me, God will give you better rest than you've ever had your whole life. Trust God. You trust him better by talking with him. You trust him better and deeper by getting into his word, deep into his word, intentionally. Verses 18 through 20, though, they echo the Shema. Remember last Thursday we heard the Shema? Lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul. Bind them on your hand. Teach them to your children. Write them on the doorposts of your house. Do you remember I talked about the Mezuza? Remember, I said last week, write on a post-it note or whatever you got. Write on there. The Lord your God. You are my only God. You're it. Write the verse. Mark 12, 28 through through 30. Write the verse. Put it everywhere that you look in your house. Jews have Torah and micro print inside of this, looks like a scroll on their doorposts, and it's always angled slightly. It's never straight up and down. It's angled slightly. You're like, man, couldn't they put this on a little straighter? It's angled on on purpose. One of these days I'll teach about Mezuza. You see, the the the uh the Jews, the observant Orthodox Jews, there's all different types of Jews. You you you know, of their religiosity, their orthopraxis, how they live it out. And some that are very, very literal, even in this day, if you go to Brooklyn, you'll see a ton of them, you have certain sections. They'll be walking and and praying, and and you'll see they have the little thing on their head, the Tefelim, and they'll have them on their hands, and they'll have these ribbons wrapped, and they'll have the uh talit and then zitzit on wearing underneath, and it comes out the bottom of their jacket, and it all means something. Every bit of it means something. Do you understand that? It's not just, wow, what a weird look you got. And part of it comes from this verse: lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, bind them on your hand, teach them to your children, write them on the doorposts of your house. Then Moses ends the chapter with a choice. Verses 26 through 28. I set before you today a blessing and a curse. And then he names two mountains, Gedazim and Ebal, where they'll stand and speak that choice aloud once they cross the river. Two lands, two mountains, two ways to live. The challenge and a choice there was control or trust. That's what they would put in the live chat or the comments below on their YouTube channel back then. They would put control or trust. Which is it? So I'm bringing it home to your house now, to your apartment, to your condo, wherever it is you live. You've been living like it's Egypt, watering everything with your own feet, and for a while, hey man, it works. It feels safe because at least you're involved. You're doing something. I pushed the water with my foot the right way. I did it in the right timing. I was right on time with that. I did really good. I had control. Control. I had control or so I thought we think we have control. We hope we do. But then at the same time, the thing that keeps us up at night. The thing that keeps us up at night is that moving that water with our foot. What if we do it wrong? What if there's a drought? What if I'm not there to move it? By the way. A kinetic hard life. And I know what it feels like. I know what it feels like to be in that spot where you're trying to figure it out. Okay, what do I need to do now? There's job cuts coming. Do I cut and run? And do I go over to this other company? Because I know this other company, I don't think they're having job cuts. I haven't heard that. But but but but in I've been here a bunch of years. What would I leave? Well, do I move? Do I move to another part of the country? Because I'm comfortable here. All understandable. When we're moving the levers or when we're redirecting the waters of our life, we feel like, man, I'm doing something. And that's not bad. It's not entirely bad. There's no bad intent there. But God didn't bring Israel out of Egypt so they could go back to running the pumps somewhere else. He brought them into a land where they'd have to look up. That isn't punishment. It's a relationship. A land that drinks the rain is a land that lives in conversation with heaven itself. That's where you are. Maybe you've got the diagnosis you can't fix, and it's not going to end in healing here on this earth. It'll end with healing in heaven, a healing you cannot imagine. An eternal healing. You will go through pain here. You will struggle powerfully here. But when you close your eyes, the last of you have placed your faith in Yeshua. The next thing you see is the face of Yeshua. And your eternity is in heaven. The diagnosis you can't fix, the the child you can't reach. Man, that I don't know what this kid is doing. Maybe they're a grown adult. And they've made choices that that completely alter your life. That it changes the way that where you would be in your life at this point, how you're living, it changes everything. And you think to yourself, man, what am I gonna do? I just gotta keep pushing forward. But man, I wish my kid. I wish my kid didn't break my heart every week.

Maybe it's the future. You you can't forecast.

In that want to sow discontent, that want to sow fear, that want to sow uh an assessment of what the situation actually is here when it's not. They want you to think everything's falling apart and it's not. But that future you can't forecat. You say, I don't know how it's gonna be over there. God's not being careless with you by putting you in a land you can't control. Hear that again. God is not being careless with you by putting you in a land you can't control. He's bringing you into the one place where you'll finally learn that his eyes are on you, just like he was on the fields. His eyes are on you from the beginning of the year to the end. So here is your step today. Name the one thing that you've been watering with your feet. The one you lie awake steering. And then tomorrow morning, before you check your phone, before you run the numbers, open both hands. Come on, do it. Write this down if you need to. Take your cool pen and your cool highlighters, take them and write it down. Write this down, remember this. Put it where you sleep so you'll remember. Before you check your phone, well, let me check the news real quick, let me check the stocks real quick, let me check the forecast, the business forecast, let me let me just scroll, let me just scroll, let me just scroll. Before you do that, before you even touch your phone, open both of your hands, palms up, and I want you to say this out loud. Not kidding, not kidding, I'm not kidding here. Your eyes are on this, from the beginning of the year to the end. I'm letting it drink from heaven. That's what I want you to say. Your eyes are on this from the beginning of the year to the end, I'm letting it drink from heaven. Then do the next faithful thing and stop there. Don't grab the channel back. Don't go back to your old habit of checking all the things and the control levers that you think you have control of. Don't grab it back. You plant the seed, God sends the rain. Now, now watch where this land leads. Centuries later, on a hillside in Galilee, Yeshua looks at a crowd of worriers. In Matthew 6, verse 26, he says, Look at the birds of the air, they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns. And yet your heavenly father feeds them. In verse 32, your heavenly father knows that you need them all. That's Doresh, all over again. The God whose eyes never leave the land hasn't taken his eyes off of you and rain. James 5, verse 7 picks up Moses' exact words. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it until it receives the early and the late rains. But Yeshua goes further than rain. In John 7, verses 37 and 38, on the last great day of the Feast of Tabernacles, when Israel was praying for the rains of the coming year, he stood up and he cried out, If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. Not a trickle, but a river of living water. On the very day they prayed for rain, he said, No, no, no, I am the water. John chapter four is my favorite story. I think my favorite. I have a favorite different one every day, but one that always. John I wrote a song about it. I composed music and and um I wrote this song and about John chapter 4, the Samaritan Woman at the well. And you can listen to it. It's it's on Spotify. It's on I have a Spotify. I have well, I'm on all of them. But Spotify is where where it is, and and then it was never about the waters, the title. But it's also it's on YouTube under the uh videos or shorts tab, whatever. There's there's several different versions. There's there's a a very ballad-like version, and I like that. And then there's also a a I did a rock version, and um it's hard rock, so buckle up buttercup. But I like it. It was never about the water, you don't have to water your life with your feet. The living water came down from heaven, and 1 Peter 5, verse 7 puts it into one sentence you can carry for the rest of your life. For the rest of your life, you will look, you're gonna memorize something, memorize this troubled soul. Memorize this, cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you, his eyes are on you from the beginning of the year to the end. I have for you today. Today, I have for you a challenge and a choice. So here's the choice: you can go back to Egypt, you can keep your feet in the mud channels, you can keep pushing every drop, you can keep lying awake at night at 1.30 in the morning because it's all on you. Or you can live in the land that drinks the rain. Plant what you're given to plant, lift your face and trust the eyes that never leave you. Egypt or the promise. Which land are you going to live in this week? Prayer isn't asking for an easy journey. It's asking for a strong back. Pray with me. Heavenly Father, we're so tired. We're so tired of holding everything together. We've been watering our whole lives with our own feet, pushing every channel, steering every drop, and lying awake because it's all on us. Father God, thank you that you brought Israel out of the land of control into a land that drinks the rain. Thank you that your eyes are on it all from the beginning to the end. Thank you that your eyes are on us too. We're honored by that. Teach us to open our hands. God, help us to guard our hearts from every false God we reach for when we're afraid, and send the early rain and the latter rain in the dry places of our lives. Oh, Father, thank you for Yeshua. Thank you for Yeshua Hamashiach, Jesus the Messiah. Thank you for Rakakodesh, the Holy Spirit of the living God. Thank you for Yeshua, the living water who stood up on the day of prayer for rain and said, Come to me. Come to me. But I am so grateful. I am so grateful that you are the way that you are. That you do the way that you do. If only we trust you more. I pray this in the name, the holy name of our Savior, our Redeemer, our King, and our friend. Yeshua. Amen. Maybe you spent your whole life in Egypt. Maybe you did. Pushing water with your own feet, and you never once lifted your face to heaven. Today you can stop. Come to the one who is the water. Look. I get it. You're fearful of what you have to change. You're fearful, man. Do I have to change the type of clothes I wear? Do I have to change my haircut? I mean, do I have to be ashamed of my tattoos? No, they're your story. I get it. I get the fear. I get the apprehension. What is going to be different about my life? If I pray and believe this prayer, I already believe that Yeshua, Jesus, is the Messiah. I believe that. I believe that he came to earth. I believe that he came to earth and he lived a sinless life. And he was tortured mercilessly. And he went to the grave. And for three days, the world groaned. You believe that. You believe that he rose from the grave. You already believe that, but you're so afraid to pray and to accept him into your life. To place your faith in Christ, to place your faith in Yeshua. You're so afraid because you say. Man, I got hurts, habits, and hangups. You don't know, Dr. Sean. Oh, yes, I do. Oh, I so do. Hundred percent, I understand. I'm telling you, there's no greater decision you can ever make in your life. There's no bigger decision than this. Don't wait. Don't wait. Pray this prayer with me. Deal with this once and for all. Take a deep breath wherever you are. Stop whatever you're doing. Beloved, we have no guarantee of our next breath. I'm a person who lives on the razor's edge of life and death. I assure you, your life can change in a moment, and you no longer have the opportunity to pray this prayer. Handle it today. I am telling you, you will never in all of your eternity regret this moment. Believers, wherever you are, those who have prayed and placed their faith in Christ, wherever you are, whatever you're doing, you don't have to close your eyes if you're driving your car. Pray. Pray right now for the soul that right now is on the edge of an eternity with Christ. The presence of God. Today's the day. Now is your moment. Pray this with me. Yeshua, I need you. I believe you died for me and you rose from the grave. I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me. Fill me. Lead me. I'm yours. In your name. Amen. Let me tell you what. All of heaven is rejoicing right now. I'm rejoicing. Because I know that somebody out there in this vast world who is listening right now, anywhere in the world, I know somebody has placed their faith into Christ. You've placed your life into the hands of Christ. You're no longer pushing mud with your feet. You've stepped out of that and into faith with Christ. No, it's not a cult. It is a beautiful, beautiful thing. I have never regretted it. Not one day of my life. If you prayed that prayer today, you just stepped out of Egypt into the land of promise.
