TRUE Word, Faith for LIFE!

You've sat through Bible teaching that never changed a thing. Opinions dressed up as truth. Depth that needed a seminary degree to follow, or shallowness that asked nothing of you at all. This is not that. True Word, Faith for LIFE! walks the whole Bible in a year, in order, the way the story was actually told. I take the Hebrew and the Ancient Near Eastern world Scripture was born in and make it plain, so you see what the first hearers saw, then walk out knowing what to do with it today. No watering down. No insider language. Every episode lands on Yeshua, and every episode lands on your real life. If you're tired of confusion and ready to actually live your faith instead of just studying it, you belong here. The Tower: Pride, Scattering, and Nations | Genesis 11 Explained

Show Notes

What if the Tower of Babel wasn’t just about bricks, but about humanity’s obsession with control and pride? Genesis 11 is not a children’s story—it is the root of every empire, every idol, every rebellion against the Living God. And it is the stage upon which God begins His covenant plan with Abraham, leading to Messiah.

In this episode of True Word, Faith for LIFE! Dr. Shawn M. Greener unpacks the Tower of Babel in its Ancient Near Eastern context with insights from Dr. Michael Heiser, Dr. Skip Moen, and other reliable scholarship. You’ll see how Babel connects to Deuteronomy 32, the Divine Council, Pentecost, and the ultimate gathering of the nations in Revelation.

👉 Tonight’s challenge: Are you building Babel—or covenant?

📖 Scripture Covered: Genesis 11, Deuteronomy 32:8–9, Acts 2, Revelation 21

📚 With insights from: Michael Heiser (The Unseen Realm), Skip Moen (Hebrew Word Study), John Walton (Ancient Near Eastern Thought and the Old Testament)
