TRUE Word, Faith for LIFE!
You've sat through Bible teaching that never changed a thing. Opinions dressed up as truth. Depth that needed a seminary degree to follow, or shallowness that asked nothing of you at all. This is not that. True Word, Faith for LIFE! walks the whole Bible in a year, in order, the way the story was actually told. I take the Hebrew and the Ancient Near Eastern world Scripture was born in and make it plain, so you see what the first hearers saw, then walk out knowing what to do with it today. No watering down. No insider language. Every episode lands on Yeshua, and every episode lands on your real life. If you're tired of confusion and ready to actually live your faith instead of just studying it, you belong here. The Bible in a Year: Walking the Story of God Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM Eastern, LIVE! Sundays, 6:30 PM Eastern,LIVE! The Book Find it in the STORE at the top of the site. This book was written for the person tired of religious pieces, tired of confusion, and ready for God's Word to make sense in real life. Walk this journey with me. Faith for LIFE! © 2026 Dr. Shawn M. WHY DID GOD ANSWER BABEL WITH COVENANT?

Are Babel, Abraham, Egypt, Melchizedek, and covenant really one story?

In this Sunday Summary and Deepening episode, Dr. Shawn M. Greener walks through Genesis 11 through 15 and shows how these passages fit together as one powerful movement in the Bible. Babel exposes human pride and self made security. Abraham’s calling reveals God’s answer to scattered rebellion. Egypt exposes fear driven compromise under pressure. Melchizedek appears as a priestly and royal signpost before Levi, before Sinai, and before the later system many readers expect. Genesis 15 then stands at the center as God answers Abram’s fear by binding Himself in covenant.

This isn’t just ancient history. It is a living word about pride, fear, control, compromise, priesthood, promise, and covenant faithfulness. Through Hebraic worldview, Ancient Near Eastern context, and careful biblical teaching, Dr. Shawn shows why God’s answer to human chaos is covenant, not self salvation.

The Bible Rebinder I Mentioned on the Podcast

This is one of the three Bibles Melissa of MooseWorks Bible restored for me, beautifully rebound with a rugged new cover and exceptional attention to detail.

A Bible is more than a book. It is often a treasury of prayers, notes, promises, memories, and the record of a life spent seeking God.

If you have a treasured Bible that deserves to be preserved with excellence, I am honored to recommend Melissa of MooseWorks Bible.

Her work is marked by beautiful craftsmanship, thoughtful detail, and genuine kindness. She does not simply repair Bibles. She helps preserve the story they carry.
