TRUE Word, Faith for LIFE!
TRUE Word, Faith for LIFE!
You've sat through Bible teaching that never changed a thing. Opinions dressed up as truth. Depth that needed a seminary degree to follow, or shallowness that asked nothing of you at all. This is not that. True Word, Faith for LIFE! walks the whole Bible in a year, in order, the way the story was actually told. I take the Hebrew and the Ancient Near Eastern world Scripture was born in and make it plain, so you see what the first hearers saw, then walk out knowing what to do with it today. No watering down. No insider language. Every episode lands on Yeshua, and every episode lands on your real life. If you're tired of confusion and ready to actually live your faith instead of just studying it, you belong here. The Bible in a Year: Walking the Story of God Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM Eastern, LIVE! Sundays, 6:30 PM Eastern,LIVE! The Book Find it in the STORE at the top of the site. Why is There a Conflict in the Timing from the Cross? | Luke 23:43, Gan-Eden, & the Truth About “Today”

Did Yeshua contradict Himself on the cross? Or have we misunderstood His words due to a single misplaced comma?

Join Dr. Shawn for a deep dive into Luke 23:43, where Yeshua told the penitent thief, “Today you will be with Me in Paradise.” This episode unpacks the original Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic phrases, explores the Ancient Near Eastern (ANE) view of Paradise (Gan-Eden), and addresses what really happened between Yeshua’s death and resurrection.

With insights from Dr. Skip Moen, Dr. Michael Heiser, and Dr. Shawn Michael Greener himself, we confront theological confusion, grammatical misinterpretations, and offer clarity rooted in Scripture, not tradition.

📖 Featuring:

  • Greek: “ἀμὴν λέγω σοι” (Amen lego soi)
  • Hebrew: “אָמֵן אֲנִי אוֹמֵר לָכֶם”
  • What is Paradise? Gan-Eden or Heaven?
  • Did the thief go to Heaven that day?
  • Where did Yeshua go before He rose?
