There's a sound you trained yourself not to hear. Maybe it maybe it came through a wall, thin wall next door. An apartment next door. Maybe it came through a phone.

Maybe it was Maybe it was the way one particular child went cry went quiet around one particular adult.

Everybody at the table saw the same thing. You didn't do it.

That's a sentence you leaned on for years. I didn't do anything.

I'm not getting involved in all that. Somewhere in there. You decided it wasn't yours to name. Not my, not my trial, not my trouble. Not something I'm gonna get involved in. And you know that kind of house where that kind of stuff is going on. There's a God, the God, who walked into houses like that. Not with a survey, with a law. He said something very hard about the person who did the harm, no doubt. Then he said something I bet you've never heard preached. I don't know if you have or you haven't. He said something about the people who heard it and looked away. He set his face against both of them. This is true word, faith for life with Dr.

Leviticus 18 and Leviticus 20. It's your first it look, if it's your just in fair, uh to be fair, right?

And I want to get them done, but anyway, I've got to save up for that. So I wrote this book. It's for people who are tired of religious pieces, little nuggets. If you if you really want to understand the Bible and you want plain talk, and I'm just gonna tell you, I say a lot of stuff in the book that I can't say here. It's not for soft feelings. Good lands, I love you all. Before we open the text, this is a tough question, I guess.

Is there a room in your memory? You know, we've got all these memory rooms. This memory over here in this room is beautiful. This room over here, well, not so beautiful. And this room over here. Hard hard memory. Is there a room in your memory you've kept the door shut on? You don't have to tell me which one. Is there a room in your memory that you've just kept the door shut on? Just type yes. You don't have to say anything more than that. And then I bet you'll see that you're not you're not carrying it alone. So here's what you have to see first. Chapter 18 opens and closes with the same frame. And the in the frame is the entire interpretation. Verse 3. After the doings of the land of Egypt where you dwelt, you shall not do. And after the doings of the land of Canaan where I am bringing you, you shall not do. Behind you, Egypt. Ahead of you, Canaan. Israel is standing in the sandwich, right? The meat of the sandwich right now. And God's telling them the danger sits on both sides. Now, I want you to hear the ancient word because it changes everything. In Egypt, the royal houses married brother to sister as policy. I know, weird. That was that time. That's not this time. That's what was happening then. It's not what happened. Well, maybe it is happening in some places now, but as a practice. Royal houses married brother to sister as policy. In Canaan, the fertility religion, it built sexual accent to worship itself. So the very things God's about to forbid were right next door. They were treated as devotion. This wasn't a strange list of rules dropped on a free people. This was God walking into a specific culture and drawing lines. I want you to listen to how he grounds it. Again and again throughout the chapter, one refrain, Ani Adonai, Ani Adonai, I am the Lord. Not, here is the reason. Not here is the benefit. The authority is the person speaking, not an argument he's making. Now I want you to look at the look at the look at look at who the list protects. I want you to read it slowly. And notice the names. By the way, how's the sound? How's the light? Change some lighting and uh change some sound setting. So hopefully I'm loud enough. I don't know. I'm a mess physically. The room is spinning, and um I'm falling a bunch now, and I don't know what's happening. But we're going to doctors and we went to one yesterday. Oh, a brand new one. I'm so happy. Um, yeah, amazing. Miss Colling went with me. Actually, she drove me. Um it was wonderful. So your prayers were answered. That's a wonderful, amazing place. Um, it's close by. The VA contracted this particular doctor from what we call, if you're in the military, out in town. And so it's right there. Thank you, Julia Caesar. He says, perfect on the sound. Anyway, so here's here's the thing. It's crazy how things happen, right? It's crazy. So we they they didn't have a specialist there at the VA. At the VA go to is very small. So, but wonderful, wonderful. So they send you out in town. It's called Care in the Community. And so they sent me to this specialist, and wow, wow, yeah, Miss Colleen and I were both impressed. We're very happy. Gonna be some surgeries coming, but I think it's gonna help some stuff. So that'll be wonderful. We got to figure out this wobbly business. Maybe I did get another TBI when I fell. I hope not. Um, I hope this is not permanent because it'll be a problem. I won't be able to drive. And uh yeah, I won't be able to do a lot of stuff, but I'm still here, and as long as I can stay in this chair and preach and teach, I'm gonna do that. Is that all right with you guys? I won't, I really want you to look at who the list protects and and read it slowly. I want you to notice the names. Daughters, daughters-in-law, sisters, aunts, aunts, stepmothers.

What?

Every prohibition is aimed at the man of the house, and every one of them stands guard over a person who, in that world and in that time, the ancient Near East, had no legal standing, no property of her own, no court to run to, and no way out the door. So understand what God is doing here. He isn't fencing in a free people for sport. He's walking into a household where one man holds every ounce of the power and telling that man, there are people under this roof you may not touch. I neon Dunai, I am the Lord. God drew these lines around the people who could not defend themselves. They couldn't defend themselves. Thousands of years before any court in any nation would say the same words, God said them. Then verse 21 dropped right in the middle. And I want you to watch the translation make a decision for you. I talk about it. I talk about it all the time. All the time I talk about this. Look, I'm not throwing rocks at any translation. I'm not. But it's important to know the truth about what it says. It's important to have it clear and understand what it says. Amen. So a translation made a decision for you. Let's not be mad at it. Let's just acknowledge it and go, okay. In the Hebrew, the verse says, You shall not give any of your seed, la Ha'avir, la'amulek, haavir. To make Passover to hand across. Now open three Bibles and watch them split. The complete Jewish Bible says, sacrificed to Molech. Names the outcome for you. Now the ESV and the NASB, the English Standard Version and New American Standard Bible, they stay a little plainer on it. Give them your children and offer them to Molek. And the old wording you probably remember, pass through the fire. That word fire-ish, it isn't in this verse at all. Translators carried it into this from Deuteronomy in 2 Kings, where the fire is named out loud. They weren't wrong about the practice. Children really did burn, and Jeremiah is about to say so. But a translator somewhere along the line decided you needed the fire spelled out right here, and never told you that the Hebrew left it unsaid. Well, see that for yourself. And even the name carries a verdict. In Hebrew, the consonants spell Melech. Melek, which is king. But the scribes pointed them to the vowels of another word. Boshet. Boshet. Good morning to be continued. I have something for you, brother. I want to connect with you at some point over the this week. That's a good dude right there. Good morning, Miss Sheryl. I hope you're recovering well. Miss Sherl, major, major, huge surgery. Huge surgery. She's she's improving every day. God bless her. Amazing human being. And then uh Miss Sharon, humongous surgery. Keep praying. Keep praying. She's getting around. She's walking. Uh, but that surgery was massive. And and uh they all matter to us. You all matter to me. And I hope you all matter to one another. This is where we gather. This is where our little community. And and you all matter. What happens with you matters. Your suffering and your joy matters. So the consonants spell Midek, king, but the scribes pointed them with vowels of another word, bushet, which is shame. King. Read his shame. They wouldn't let the idol keep its dignity even on the page. They wouldn't do it. Now, watch what chapter 20 adds because it isn't what you'd expect. It says the man who gives his child to Molech is put to death. Now, I'm gonna say this, I'll probably get canceled. Um, it happens if I ever do. Uh, I don't know. I have a rumble channel. Um, I'm trying again, broadcasting there. It's a big, big energy waster because to do everything is to duplicate everything you do here. It's different over there. You know, I'm gonna say this because I have to, because it can't be silent. The abortion argument. Look no further than this. People were putting their babies to death. They were burning them to death. Piles of them. No, I'm not kidding. And you say, My God, that's gruesome. No. A million babies a year murdered in this country. Innocent. Innocent. You say, well, you got to provide an option for these poor mothers. You know, they have a life to lead. I get it. There's lots of options. There's there are more people in this country, screened, vetted people who want to adopt than there are babies being born. In total. I don't want to hear it. Science. It grieves me. I can't imagine what it does to God. Men who say, hey, go get the abortion. Hurry up. There's states in this country, in the United States of America, I know we have an international audience, but there's states here in this country who just voted to allow abortions up to and including the ninth month. And they're rejoicing about it. I just can't even.

I don't know.

What do you all think? Scripture says the man who gives his child to Molech is put to death. Listen. Boyfriend, husband, secret affair mate. This lays on you. Doesn't absolve the woman, but it lays right on you. The man who gives his child to Mullah gets put to death. But then God adds this. You ready? If the people of the land hide their eyes from the man and do nothing, then I will set my face against that man and against everyone who looked away. God held the community that hid its eyes, looked away, not my business. Held them accountable. Right alongside the man who did it. I want you to lean back on that. Lean back on it. Because it hasn't stopped being true, my friends. The sin God names here isn't only the act, it's the knowing. It's it's the choosing not to see. I don't see that. I don't see it. The neighbor who heard it. How many times I remember when I was in law enforcement and I was investigating crimes? And how many times did I did I go next door? I mean next door, next door. Maybe an apartment, a trailer home, um, you know, a home that's close together, even just big, you know, big houses and big yard communities. How many times did I go next door? And the people said, you know, a murder happened or someone killed their baby or whatever, and and and they and they killed, you know, their children. Did some horrific crime. And I'm I'm next door and I'm I'm I'm interviewing people, and you know, what do you know about the people next door? And initially they're shocked, they say they're shocked, but then they but then you know, as you get them talking, they say, you know, I did hear screams there a fair bit. Did you call law enforcement? Because, you know, we want to go get those reports. I'm gonna pull those reports. Did you call law enforcement? You remember when that was? No, I I didn't want to get involved. Oh. Okay. Well, I mean, it was none of my business. I thought, well, I don't want to have the police come out here just for nothing. The neighbor who heard it did nothing, chose not to see. The family. The family that decided it wasn't any of their business. You're at Thanksgiving dinner, you're at a big family reunion, you you see that little one that won't go anywhere near that certain adult. And when that certain adult comes near them, they run and they cry. And that family decided, hey, it's none of my business. It's just a family event, we'll be out of here soon. I don't know your life. I don't know your history. The family who decided, not any of my business. The community that loved its own comfort more than one child in a fire. Good morning, Miss Tammy. We're glad to have you. We're glad to have you. You are loved here and appreciated greatly. One child in a fire, and they didn't kill them first. They threw them in alive. Hamas did that. But they used the modern oven on October 7th. How do I know? I've seen the videos. Who recorded the videos? They could be fake, you know. No, it was Hamas that recorded them. And they were gleefully burning a child at 400 degrees in an oven. Well, R A last letter is P. Can't say it or I get canceled. Their mother within a foot of the oven. We will pray for you. And listen, if you're listening and you and you've had an abortion, listen, I want you to know. Take it to the Lord. Take it to the Lord. I'm not judging you. Take it to the Lord. You know, look, abusive husband. And he would kill me. He would kill me to kill the child. Good morning, Peter. It's good to have you here. I uh appreciate your comment. We keep things kind and nice here. Respectful toward one another. As long as we follow that, we're good to go. It's okay if you disagree. So, you know, I and I've spoken to them and and uh doesn't all fall to the woman. I I know a case where sh he would kill her. He would have killed her. Namaste from India. Good to have you listening. Look, I I need you to understand that there are many circumstances under which, you know, you look at the case and you go, wow, that happens here in this country. And then there are cases where they're in college and you know, they get pregnant and they're like, oh, I'm here on scholarship, and or my parents are paying. And if if you know, if I if I call home and they and tell them they're gonna, and this guy's an idiot. I don't know, I was drunk and I don't know why I was with him, and he's an idiot. Or maybe he forced himself on me. I don't know. But I can't, I can't, I'm I'm in college, and and if I leave college, everything's gonna fall apart. It's we won't. It won't. There are organizations that will take you in. I know. Shocking. They don't ever get the press. They'll take you in, they'll care for your baby. They'll care for you until your baby is born, they'll care for you postpartum. And they'll help find an appropriate parent for your child if you say, hey, I can't do it. Yeah, those places exist. There are many of them, and they're amazing. Look, the passage I just said, it wasn't hypothetical. This this thing with Molech throwing babies into fire, it wasn't hypothetical. It really happened. And centuries later, Israel did it. South of Jerusalem, there was a place called Topith. Topith. In the valley of the Son of Hinum. Good morning, Miss Colleen. Associate producer and director of this show. In the valley of the Son of Hinum. Say that in Hebrew, shorten it, and you get Gehenom. Gehenna. The word Yeshua would later use for hell was the name of a real valley where the people he was speaking to would know that place and know that name where God's own covenant people burned their own children. And I want you to hear how God grieves it through Jeremiah. They built the high places of Tovath to burn their sons and daughters, which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart. Neither came it into my heart. The thing they did in his name was so foreign to him, it had never once crossed his mind. So these chapters aren't a museum case about the Canaanites. They're a warning to the covenant people about what they could become. And then the strangest image in the chapter, verse 25. The land itself vomits out its inhabitants. That verb isn't decoration. The ground is given a moral stomach. It holds only so much, and then it heaves. The nations already there are being expelled for exactly this, and Israel gets no exemption. And neither do we. A million babies a year. A million? Well, they're just a clump of cells. So are we. We're clumps of cells. Well, they can't live outside the mother. Well, all right. You want to kill two-year-olds now? They can't live without mom. They can't live without dad. Disabled children? Can't live without mom or dad. You want to kill them too. They do. They are straight up evil. They handed Canaan because they're special. I'm sorry, they aren't handed Canaan because they're special. They're handed it on the same terms as the tenants before them, and the same eviction clause is in the lease. Let me talk to two people today. Two. First, to anyone who is harmed inside a home. I want you to hear this. What happened to you was named by God. It wasn't overlooked. It was never overlooked. Not minimized, not turned away, not a private family matter. He wrote it into his law as a thing he set his face against. The God of Leviticus 18 saw the household from the inside and translated He He legislated for the person who had no voice in it. And if there were people who knew and they they hid their eyes, he named them too. That was never nothing. Second, this is to the rest of us. God doesn't say the Canaanites are monsters and you're the civilized ones. He says you just came out of Egypt and you're headed into Canaan, and I'm telling you not to do what either of them did, which means Israel had already absorbed some of it. Now look, 400 years inside a culture leaves marks. The threat wasn't only out ahead in the new land, it was in the bags they carried out of the old one. I want you to lean into that one. Lean into that one. The things most likely to undo you aren't the ones you're walking toward. They're the ones you packed. You packed them away. So here's the one thing today asks of you. It's not a feeling, it's an action. Make the home you're responsible for the safest place on earth for the person in it with the least power. There are people walking around who have no power. Listen, I was a stud, super fit, strong, big. And then I got hurt. And then I got hurt again. And now I'm vulnerable. It is a different world. It's a different world. And let me tell you something. Most people don't care about handicapped people. I I have a walker, I have crutches, special crutches, I have canes. I'm obviously disabled. And you walk down a mall, not ever in malls, but I'm using that as an example. Walk down a mall, there's a lot of people. You're on the right, proper side. Nobody gets out of your way. They don't care. Door slam in front of you, they don't care. They back their chair out in front of you. They don't care. They don't, they don't care. Vulnerable. Falls for disabled people are the biggest killer. I just had one. I told you about it yesterday on Saturday. It was all it was awful. It was awful. We're gonna find out the damage and all that. My point is there are vulnerable people in this world who have no one speaking up for them.

But God did. God did. He didn't just leave it quiet.

He didn't just not deal with it. And the and the folks who scribed this Bible out. Good morning. Good morning, morning frost 4638. So good to have you listening on YouTube. Appreciate it so much. Hey, while you're here, you're gonna be safe. If you're vulnerable, you're gonna be safe. You see someone assaulted and you're older or infirmed, and you can't do anything about it. You see it going on, you see it happening. Maybe you're going down the street, you see it happening. The least you can do is dial 911. You say, Oh, it's a pain in the neck. We know it. My son has done it, I've done it. It is a pain in the neck. So what? You don't know the story. The person with the least power, and I'm gonna tell you a quick story. I didn't want to do it, but I'm gonna. So I got hurt when I was a police officer doing a drug investigation, jumped this seven-foot fence. When I landed, I landed on a route. It was three in the morning, uh, blew my knee out, totally blew it out. And uh, we were able to finish doing what we were doing, but yeah, I had to have major surgery and reconstruction and all that stuff. So, you know, I was off the street. I was home for I think nine months. I came back the fastest anybody had come back on the police department um to full duty. The day I was released to full duty, I was on my way home and uh I saw a woman getting beat up. And I mean beat up. Broad daylight. It was in a bad area, and nobody around was doing anything. And I said, I can't drive by. So I pulled over and I started running up toward them. Remember, I hadn't run very much. You know, this is the first time trying out the old, the old new knee. And so I called on my radio, because you know we have radios. I called on my radio and uh gave them my call sign, and I said, um, I'm out on a assault in progress.

And I mean, she was getting the anyway, beat out of her. And I and I ran and I chased.

There was two guys involved in it, and I chased after them. I caught one of them. Helicopter was put up and all this stuff, and yeah. And the chief, the colonel, uh they told me to go to the specific channel, and the the colonel was on the channel, and he said, You know, isn't this the first day you've been released of full duty? Aren't you on your way home?

Yes, sir. He said, Come talk to me. Come talk to me tomorrow when you come in.

And yes, I did get chewed out, but I got chewed out in a way that said, Hey, we appreciate you caring, but you could have called and had a road car. And I said, Sir, I think she'd have been dead by that time. She was beat to death. Almost. She was a prostitute, this was an area frequented by prostitutes, these were the pimps.

You say, Well, she chose that life. Her life matters. She didn't choose it because it's a glamorous career. You say, Well, she's on drugs. Okay. No. I don't drive by and see someone being victimized.

I can't do anything for it. This verse, this passage.

Today I want you to name the one thing that you've kept quiet to protect your own comfort. Maybe there was an event. Maybe there was something happening to a friend or someone vulnerable that you love.

You've kept quiet about it. Because you said, hey. It's not my business. Then I want you to do the one thing love actually requires.

Now, I want you to ask the question you've avoided. Make the call, maybe, maybe make the call you've put off to someone who can actually help. Maybe you can help.

Maybe you're not equipped to help. That's okay. You can dial 911. Open the door. Open the door you've kept shut all this time.

One step. Today. Now, I'm going to tell you, there was an instance where uh I went when I was on the road as a police officer. I went to this one house. I had a rookie with me who ended up retiring from the police department, uh, long, illustrious career there. Um, and I will tell you, you know, he was brand new out of the academy, probably two weeks, three weeks in, four weeks in, whatever it was. And I remember him ride with me, and we get this call of this house that I'd been to a bunch of times. The guy who lived there, um, huge guy, he was a concrete worker. In his dining room, instead of a dining room table, he had uh a weight bench that had 450 pounds on it. The he he bench pressed 450 pounds. He was a big dude. He was strong. I have a lot of capabilities, and I was very strong back then too. But this guy, not fun.

Not fun.

And uh we knew he beat on his girlfriend, his girlfriend's son. We were we were over, it was we hours in the morning, we were over having a meal in a parking lot. Me and this rookie, we're having this meal. I remember we were eating sandwiches. I don't remember much, but I remember that. Eating sandwiches, and this kid runs up to us, he's got blood dripping from his ear. It's clear that he had an earring ripped out. And so we said, What's happening? What's going on? He and and I kind of knew the kid. And he goes, because you know, you work a sector, you get to know the people. And he he says, My mom's getting beaten to death. I was like, By so and so? Yeah. And I said, What happened? Tell me what happened real quick. And he goes, I came home with an earring. He was 14. Came home with an earring. And this is not his stepdad. This is just mom's boyfriend. And he screamed and yelled, chased me all around. He grabbed me and he ripped the earring out. And then she tried to protect me, and he just started beating on her. And I couldn't do anything. I tried to stop him, but I couldn't do anything. So I just ran and tried to find somebody to help. And I said, Okay. Called it in. We get there, we can hear her screaming. He's just he's throwing her, she was little, throwing her around like a ragdow.

And then we stopped hearing her. Yeah. You know, you're supposed to wait for permission to kick the door in.

Nope. We kicked the door in. The rookie was cool. He was like, okay. So I kicked the door in. It was tough to kick in. It was a real heavy door. Weird, awkward type of situation standing on a landing just below the door. There was a step up to the door. That makes it more difficult. You don't kick a door in like in the movies. That's not how it happens. Anyway. Kick the door in, we go in the house, and she's a mess. I mean, she's a ragdoll. She's just blood everywhere. As you might imagine, we got in a huge fight with a guy. Um almost shot him. Almost. Could have. Would have been justified. You know. I was able to able to get the upper hand on him. And um anyway, I won't say how, but did. Locked him up. So we get medical to come, ambulances to come. They come, they take her to the hospital. She's a mess. She's all beat up. She's really orbital bones and her face are broken. I mean, you know, uh, her lip was tore so bad it was just hanging. He just kept punching her and punching her. And uh, little, she's little. This guy is almost 300 pounds. She's tiny. She was, I don't even think she was 100 pounds. And she was a nice lady, very sweet. So we go to the hospital once she's, you know, coherent enough and we interview her and do the report, and and uh I say, look, this time, I knew her, by the way. Uh, this time you gotta carry through with the charges. You gotta carry through. He's gonna get out. Yeah, eventually he will get out. And a piece of paper, you get that piece of paper, I want you to do that because we want a reason to lock him up again. The paper's not gonna save your life. You gotta do something different about your living situation. She felt she felt trapped. She didn't know what to do. I said, listen, you go back to him, he's gonna kill you. He is going to kill you. The courts will, you see, people yell at police, why don't you keep him in jail? Please don't do anything but lock people up, write reports, do investigations, submit those, place the charges. It's up to the lawyers and the and then ultimately the judge. And the the judges nowadays, oof. She was totally vulnerable. She was completely and totally vulnerable. Little tiny frail woman. She was actually very pretty. She would have, she would have, you know, if she changed her life, she would have fetched far better men than this guy.

Guy on steroids, you know, drunk.

And months later, one of my one of my uh colleagues comes up to me. I was actually in detectives at the time, comes up to me and says, Hey, didn't you used in two zone? It was actually in two zone, bordered three zone. I worked three zone. Bordered two zone, so I would end up going over there, you know, because we're spread out. We didn't have enough police, so that's how it worked. We rode alone normally.

You know, it's very rare that you have someone in your car. And you work as a single officer. There, there, it's not pairs.

Um I gotta tell you, this this person, female detective, senior female detective, sits me down, which was very nice that you did this. She sits me down away from everybody else, and she says, Look, I know you went to this house a lot. She read the reports. How do I know? She she was the person who responded.

She was the detective who had responded to the homicide. He had beaten her to death. In my mind, I I said I didn't do enough.

So she the the senior detective says, Look, I I read over all your reports. Your petitions to judges and and all that, and I just want you to know you did everything you could, short of shooting him. You did all you could. I thought to myself, why didn't I kill him? I had the I had the legal right to do it. Morning Frost 4638. Welcome. Welcome so much. It's a dangerous place. It's a dangerous place. I told you that whole story. By the way, the detective, you know, she saw tears welling up in my eyes. I'm a tough guy, but it crushed me, it killed me. Then I think about this 14-year-old kid, too. What becomes of him? I get I I tell you that story, I lived it. And and as in law enforcement, you know, you see these things all the time. And you think, why doesn't somebody do something? You hand it over to the judges, you intervene, the judges just let the people go.

I don't know why. I don't know what possesses them to do it. But they do it all the time. I don't know why. I can't answer that question if you say why do they do it?

I don't know. All I know is law enforcement's doing what it can, what it's legally empowered to do. I'm a guy. Morning Frost, everyone. Morning Frost4638 is a dude. Welcome. I I didn't know this, but the the disabled, I didn't know this until I am disabled.

The disabled in this country are victimized.

People who are not disabled, parking in handicapped parking because, well, it's more convenient. And there's so many of them, they'll be fine. Meanwhile, that lady who has no legs, who has to lift herself out of her car and put herself in her wheelchair, has no room to open the door. So she has to go about it altogether differently. And she's parking in a non-handicapped spot because someone who's not handicapped, only in here in a minute.

There's a million other ways.

What I'm trying to tell you is this the Bible talks about our responsibility. Talks about our response. God talks, He's talking to you, able-bodied person. He's talking to you, stronger person. He is communicating with you what you're to do.

And what responsibilities you have. Good lands, I'm way over. I'm always way over. God dummit.

Look, make the call you've put off to someone who can actually help. Open the door that you've kept shut all this time. One step. That's all I'm asking for today. Now watch what Yeshua does with all of this. Because nobody saw it coming. Nobody. And and I and I 100% get it. If if you hear this and you're like, I don't remember ever reading that. I get it. It's okay. You're hearing it now. He moves the jurisdiction inward. God moves the jurisdiction inward. You've heard it said, do not commit adultery. But I say to you, whoever looks with lust has already done it in his own heart. Who said that? Who said that? Yeshua. And in the same breath, if you were a woman with no power, he becomes the safest man in the ancient world to stand near. A Samaritan woman with, oh, my favorite to teach, a Samaritan woman with five failed marriages, and he asks her for water. A woman thrown at his feet by a mob, and he kneels and he writes something in the dust until every accuser walks away. A woman bleeding, the issue of blood for 12 years, no friends, nobody can touch her. Nobody can touch her. She can't go and hang out with the ladies from her community. She has to go get water from the well when it's 120 degrees, literally outside. She has no friends and no future. And she has been isolated because she has the issue of blood. She's perpetually ceremonial. She can't even go to church. She can't go to synagogue. She can't go to temple. Can't go. Because she's ceremonially unclean. They didn't have the things that we have for ladies today to deal with the deal. Listen, women deal with some hard stuff, man. They got some hard stuff going on. Don't even get me started on childbirth. Good lands. I've delivered three babies. Woof. I watched my daughter. Be born. Watched right there. Immediate respect for her mother. Immediate. This woman for twelve years was isolated. And she said, if only I can touch Yeshua's hem, the hem of his garment, the tzitzit or the talit, the little things that hang down. The tzitzit. If I could only touch that. Because she couldn't. The crowd was pressing in on him. And she followed and followed and tried to get his attention. Didn't work. Come on. What kind of faith is that? And she did. She pressed in. She fought her way through. And she touched the hem of his garment and he turned. Who touched me? He felt the power go out of him. And she was healed. My God. Isolated. One moment. Healed by the Savior of the world.

Faith.

The one who raised the standard never once used it against. Never. He never once used it as a weapon against the person with less power. Not one time. The one who raised the standard never once used it as a weapon against the person with less power. Not one time. Here's the crimson thread that weaves the day together. It knits it together. That word, face, face. God set his face against the man who harms and the crowd that hides its eyes. God sets his face against the man who harms and the crowd that hides its eyes. In a few minutes, I'm going to speak a blessing over you, the oldest blessing in Scripture, where God makes his face to shine upon you. Same face. It's the same face, that face that says, I'm going to make God make his face to shine upon you. He's staying here, that same face. God sets his face against the man who harms and the crowd that hides its eyes. That's all of us. Same thing. He sets it against the predator and shines it upon the wounded. The cross is where those two meet. Every sin in these chapters, the doing and the hiding, Yeshua carried up that hill on his back. His bloody, split open back. There's no one in this passage he didn't die for. Not a single person. If you're out there and you say to yourself, you say, self, I can't get involved. I can't. You say to yourself, you know what? God, why would God die for me? It's not time for you. That's why you don't believe. You don't believe it because you can't imagine. You know your life. You know what you've done. You say, no one would do that. No one would do that. No one would do it. I simply cannot believe it. So I won't believe in God. I know. I know the struggle you have. I've struggled with that myself because I know me. I know what a scumbag I am. And I can't imagine he would do it for me. But he did. He did for you. Yeshua carried up that hill on Golgotha. He carried up that hill. All of my sins. Bags and bags and bags of my sins. My hurts, my habits, my hangups. He carried up that hill. And he carried yours. And he carried yours and yours and yours and yours. Carried all of them. I have for you today a challenge and a choice. One question. And it isn't about what you did. It isn't about what you did. It's about what you knew. Where have you hidden your eyes? What did you let stay quiet because naming it would have cost you something? God set his face against the ones who looked away. He still sees the person who can't speak for themselves. And he's asking you today whether you will. Prayer is not asking for an easy journey. It's asking for a strong back. I want you to pray this with me. Father, you saw inside the houses. You wrote the laws for the people who had no one to appeal to. And you said out loud what was done to them for everyone listening, Father. Everyone listening who was harmed where they should have been the safest. God, let them hear it today. You saw it, you named it, and you never once called it small. Thank you, Father. And we confess the hiding of the eyes, the things we knew and left alone, because naming them would cost us. God, we ask you to give us a strong back, the strong back, to set our face where you set yours, make our homes the one place where the person with the least power is the safest person in the room. Look, maybe, look, I I don't know your life, but maybe you've kept your distance from God because you thought his holiness was aimed at you like a weapon. That he's the one keeping the list. There's no way I could ever approach him because you know the list. You say my name is on it. I can't approach him. How can I do that? First of all, why would anybody do this for me? Why would somebody go to a cross, be tortured for hours and hours and hours, almost to death, and then be hung upon a cross and murdered and mocked? Why? Why would he do it for me? Just because you wouldn't do it for somebody else doesn't mean he wouldn't do it for you. You gotta let go of that man. Lady, you gotta let go of it. Young lady, young man, whoever's listening, you gotta let go of it. I've led murderers to the Lord. Literally moments before they were taken into custody. I've led prostitutes who were who found out later were two weeks away from their death. And no one would approach her, not even the nurses. And when she placed her faith in God, she was only 34 years old, she looked like she was 60. She was abused her entire life. Uncle so and so, boyfriend such and such. Over and over and over. And her mother just stood by. And in the moment she placed her faith in Jesus, I know because I was holding her hand. The moment it registered with her, her whole face changed. She had very few teeth in her mouth, all rotted out. Her face changed. Her smile was the most beautiful I've ever seen. You're a daughter of the king. And when you pass from this world, and she knew she was, when you pass from this world, the moment you close your eyes, you'll be in the presence of the king, and you'll be healed, and you'll be made whole, and you're gonna live your eternity in heaven with him. Your sins are forgiven, and he remembers them no more. I want you to look. I want you to look again at who these chapters we just spoke about today protect. This is a God who walks into a house and stands between power and the person who has no power for a reason. He didn't come looking for a reason to condemn you. He came to stand exactly where you're standing, right with you. And if you're the one who did the harm, he isn't finished with you either. There's no sin in these chapters. didn't carry up that hill. I want you to pray this with me. Yeah, yeah, I'm talking to you, abuser. I'm talking to you. Place your faith in Christ. Turn it all over to him. Stop. Spreading poison. And start living for him. Yeah, even you. Pray this with me. Pray it sincerely. Yeshua, I need you. I believe you died for me. And you rose again from the grave. I surrender my life to you today. Please forgive me. Fill me. Lead me. My life is yours. In your name. Amen. Come on. If you prayed that today, don't keep it to yourself. This is the seminal moment in your whole life. In your entire eternity. No decision is bigger than this one. There's no greater day than this one. I want you to tell one person why. You say, why do I tell one person? Because God says, don't be ashamed of me. You'd be ashamed of me in front of man, I'll be ashamed of you from the Father. Come on now. Come on now. Time to bow up a little bit. Straighten your back. You are a child of the king. You prayed that today. Don't keep it to yourself. Tell one person. Maybe one person that follows Yeshua, who follows Jesus. Maybe you know somebody who is a Christian. Go to them. Tell them I place my faith in Christ today. I turn my life over to Him. They may look at you and laugh. They may go, look, I know the list. I know that list. Not you, man. You ain't ready. They might. Mom or Dad? Uncle so-and-so? Aunt Gertie. She might, she might look at you and go, Don't let it bother you. Just smile at them. Just smile at them. They don't know what happened between you and God just now. That's okay. You just tell them. One person who follows Yeshua, and and maybe they're a good person, let them walk with you.
