Key Takeaways
- When you wait for someone else to move and take action, the honor of obeying God ultimately goes to someone else.
- In Judges 4 and 5, Deborah summoned Barak, whose name means lightning, while the Canaanite commander Sisera deployed 900 iron chariots.
- God supernaturally intervened with a torrential storm that flooded the Kishon River and bogged down Sisera's chariots in the mud, mirroring how the Lord fights for His people.
- Hesitating and overthinking out of fear—much like the tribes of Reuben and Meroz who stayed home—means missing out on God's active work.
- True faith requires action over endless talk, and every believer is called to step up rather than waiting for someone else to do the heavy lifting.

SPEAKER_01And everybody in your family knows it. Your sister lives close. Your brother has more money. So you wait for one of them to make the closet. Or it's at work. And you know the numbers are being fudged. And everybody sees it. Or it's a church. The youth room has sat empty for over a year. Everybody knows it. Nobody knows anything. Hey, look, maybe it's in your own house. Where nobody has prayed out loud at that kitchen table in months. And everybody's waiting for somebody else to go first. Here's what Judges 4 and 5 show you today. When you wait for somebody else to move, the honor of obeying goes to somebody else. Ooh. Hear it again. Hear it again. When you wait for someone else to move, the honor of obeying goes to someone else. And the people you love keep suffering while you wait. And one question from a woman under a palm tree is going to get you moving. This is True Word Faith for Life with Dr. Sean. I'm Sean. Welcome. We're walking through the Bible in a year, walking the story of God, one day at a time. And today we're in Judges 4 and 5. With Deborah, Barak, and a song Israel sang after a storm. Anywho, true word faithforlife.com. Hey, question for the chat. By the way, stop panicking about last night. Stop panicking. Hey, look. I've been saying it was gonna be a mess for a long time. We're talking about American politics. Uh, you better buckle up, Buttercup. Folks are gonna see what they voted for. And uh hopefully we'll have a country left by the end of two years. Hopefully there will be a lesson learned, hard lessons, is what it is. So here's a question in the chat for you, totally unrelated, or maybe it is. Is there something you've been waiting for somebody else to do? Oh, that hurts this morning, right? Is there something you've been waiting for someone else to do? Type waiting if there is. Type going if you're already you're already on it. So I want to welcome everybody in live chat. How are you? Good to see you. Yeah, messed up people. You're right, Robbie. Absolutely. Jesus will absolutely light your path. To be continued 25. Thank you so much. Good morning to you and Miss Linda. We had 1,300 people listening yesterday to yesterday's jacked up broadcast. I rewired the whole thing. Uh, I did it exactly as the instructions. I I don't know. I don't know. Uh worst comes to worse, I might have to drive uh two and a half hours away to an Apple store and have them look at my Mac mini and say, okay, what do I what am I doing wrong here? I might not be doing anything wrong. Who knows? It could be a defect. I don't know. I'm probably doing something wrong. If it's me, I'm betting on I did something wrong. So anyway, believe it or not, 1,300 people were listening live to that, and many of you were there. Hello, Sean spelled correctly. Hello, Miss Linda. Hello, Miss Susan. Hello, Miss Nicole. Good early morning to you. Good early morning to all of you. Nicole Jensen, thank you so much. Thank you so much. God bless you. God bless you all. Hey, it's a real question. Waiting or going? Miss Nicole's answered. Waiting or going. So look who's back. Judges 4, verse 2. The Lord sold them into the hand of Jabon, king of Canaan, who reigned in Hazor. Hezor, two weeks ago Joshua burned Hazor to the ground. Now a king rules there again with a commander named Cesera and 900 chariots of iron. What Israel never fully drove out came back with an army. Ooh, ooh. Hey now, are we are we experiencing that now with Iran? Hamas? Are we are we, you know, Hezbollah? Are we are we not? You don't defeat them completely. They come back and they're gonna keep coming back. Culture of death. They want to start with your death. They don't care if they die in the process. Well, the leaders do. They send the underlings. Hello, Miss Tammy. Good to see you. God bless you. They send the underlings to do all the all that part, but anyway, all that said to say, hey, you know, here we go. We have lessons back to hear. I don't know. I don't know if you're getting the correlation. God says drive them out fully. You leave some of them standing, they're gonna come back. You say, oh, that sounds so mean, Dr. Sean. Hey, scripture. Do with what you will. It's history. We know better. Islam has never, not one time in all of history, ever honored a single treaty. Come on, get smart. People pick up on it. It's a trend. Gonna be rough times here. Gonna be rough times. You better have strong faith. I've been saying you better get strong in your faith. That takes effort, doesn't happen automatically. It's not magic. I've been saying it. I've been saying it. Hey, listen now. You are gonna see things that you're shocked. This is the culture of killing people for disagreeing with them. 30-some percent of them say it's totally okay to do that. Your political opponent, sure. Shari Law. Meet you again. This is gonna be a rough place. Gonna be a lot of rough places. Hey, listen, Texas. I said it years ago on God and Country, the collision of faith and politics. Miss Cullen can can verify, I kept saying, all those years ago on we had a national radio show. Um, I kept saying, listen, Texas is in play. People are like, eh, you're out of your mind. No, no, no. They got patience, man. They got patience. They will move people in while we strut and go, not in my country, not in my state. Mm-mm. And they'll move in quietly. And then they'll start running for office. They'll pretending to be moderate. Then they'll get in this office because nobody votes. Nobody votes for the little bitty stuff. Oh, I don't go in. It's not a big deal. It's not a general. Midterm, not a big deal. Oh, local election, not a big deal. And then these people gain steam. And then eventually they become the governor of your state. They become a senator in your state. They become the lever holders in your state. Goes around, comes around. Can't say you haven't been warned, America. Can't say you haven't been warned. It isn't like we don't have other countries like Europe. France is burning. Paris is burning. Come on. Believe what you see. We're all tied up with all these stupid conspiracy theories. Those poor people on that aircraft. Oh, there's no aircraft left. It's just like 9-11. Where are the bodies? A plane doesn't just disintegrate. Some, some, some putts who who hasn't bathed in a week, hasn't shaved in I don't know how long, um, hadn't brushed their teeth. There's there are internet experts talking about the plane that crashed and fall down. Oh, that was that was a missile. Don't fall for it. Don't be sheeple. Don't be stupid, folks. When it is something, I'll say it. This is a group of people who the aircraft had a series of fatal errors, fatal problems, and it screwed into the ground at I don't know how many hundreds of miles per hour. The entire plane and everything in it, including the human beings, those lost souls, are flammable. And they ain't much left. They have found, I think, four miles away the tailpiece. Stop falling for all this. Stop wasting your time on social media following all this stupid stuff. It's, it's, it's, you're not living in the real world. Oh, you're just a sheeple with their, you know, over your eyes. Hey, trust me, if you knew my background, you would know. You would know. I don't talk about it unless I know. Anyway, lesson learned, folks. Gonna be some tough times in this country. Congratulations to Marsha Blackburn. An unbelievable human being. Unbelievable. The way she talks gets on my nerves, something fierce, but Tennessee, you did it. You did it. You got her done. Texas, epic fail. Now, Republicans, you ran crappy candidates. Crappy. In fighting. John Cornyn and and uh President Trump and all these people infighting. Oh, man at you, you're mad at you. Stupid. It's just stupid. Nothing will get done but a bunch of impeachments and going after this and that, and people will be emboldened. You're gonna see a violent time. It's gonna be dangerous to be a politician. And I don't mean dangerous metaphorically. I mean if you're a conservative politician, especially if you're in Trump's cabinet, God bless you. God bless you. Gonna be a long two years. And I don't even know if America will learn its lesson in those two years. Robbie says we're in a 9-11 moment. Uh, we are and we aren't. Because there's no next day. I remember the next day after 9-11. The next day after 9-11, everybody was saying, this country has come together, it's united like never before. BS. B.S. That was a show. Total show. Anyway, doesn't matter. In verse 3, in verse 3, he oppressed the people of Israel cruelly for 20 years. Chariots. Remember what I said about chariots. Chariots were the tanks of the late Bronze Age on flat ground and dry weather. Foot soldiers had no answer for them. Cesare's ground was in the Jezreel Valley, the broad, flat plain in the north, perfect chariot country. The Kishon River runs right through it in the dry season. Look, it's barely a trickle. And remember Baal from Monday. You might say Baal, but Baal from Monday. The storm god, the rider on the clouds. The Canaanites believed he controlled the rain. Keep that in mind. Come back to you. It matters by the end of the battle. Now I want you to meet Deborah. You might say Deborah. Verse 4, Deborah, a prophetess, a real one, not a fake one. A prophetess, the wife of Lepidoth, was judging Israel at the time. She sat under the palm of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel. And the people of Israel came up to her for judgment. Some read it as her husband's name, others as a description of her, a woman of fire. Either way, a torch is about to meet a man named Lightning. Yeah, that's his name. So verse 6. She sent and summoned Badak from Kedeshnaptali. Barak means lightning. And she said to him, Has not the Lord, the God of Israel, commanded you? Go gather your men at Mount Tabor? Has not the Lord commanded you? Badak already has, he already had his orders. He just hadn't moved. Hey, isn't that somebody else's job? Don't we? Don't we think somehow or another that's somebody else's job, man? I am not going to get involved in all that. I'm going to take a position of wait and see. How'd that work out? Didn't. Hey, maybe it was fear. He just he just didn't move because maybe he was afraid. Hey, maybe it was he was thinking somebody else was going to do the job. Nope, nope, nope. Nope. Nobody else did. Nobody stepped up. So what does Barak say? Verse 8. If you will go with me, I will go. But if you will not go with me, I will not go. Hey man. Well, you think about, let's go up in here and get into this mess. Come on now. Let's go do this. If you go, I'll go. If you do it, I'll do it. I'm right there with you. You ever hear that? I'll go. But if you won't go with me, I won't go. Verse 9. And she said, I will surely go with you. Nevertheless, the road on which you are going will not lead to your glory, for the Lord will sell Cesara into the hand of a woman. But Ak gets to go. But because he wouldn't go first, the honor goes to somebody else. Remember, I said that during the open. When you wait for somebody else to move, the honor of obeying goes to somebody else too. And why wouldn't you say, oh, wait a minute, after be, you know, everybody's going, that was good. That was good. Deborah, see, awesome. Awesome. Shit, awesome. You know, everybody else is saying that when everybody sees people clapping, all of a sudden it's like, well, hey, that was my idea. I was gonna do it. I don't want to told her. Yeah, but she moved. The glory goes to the person who does it, man. Oh, yeah. I know so and so. Yeah, I bump into them at the coffee shop a lot, and you know, I just sense that the Lord, the Lord is working in them. I know they need the Lord, and and uh somebody should talk to so-and-so about the Lord. Somebody should bring that up and invite them to place their faith in Christ. Somebody should do that. Let's pray. And they pray this real pretty prayer, this very discerning, beautiful. Oh, it's so beautiful, this prayer. Oh man, inspiring. But then they don't do anything. Comes time, they see the person.
SPEAKER_00Oh, hey, so-and-so, how are you? How you doing? How's your mom and them? Yeah, mm-hmm, mm-mm, mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_01Well, listen, take good care. Would you get a latte? That's what I got. I got that too. Do you get this? You get the yeah, I get that too. Okay, God bless you. And then you think that that's that's that's the the the interaction that's gonna lead them to Christ. Well, I I say God bless you. Now I said it barely audible because I know I'm in a coffee shop that those people don't love the Lord. That company doesn't stand for anything but profit. Nothing wrong with that if you're business, but they're kind of anti-God, you know which one I'm talking about. And so here we go. The person that you were talking to goes in. Next time you and them are going to meet, 10 a.m., talk about things, see how everybody's doing, whatnot, and well, what have you. And then this person comes in, sees the other person that you were, you know, praying for, and said, God bless you. And that person is in line, right? And they're waiting on their latte. Maybe this time it's an Americana. I don't know. I don't know, but all I know is this the person you were with that you did that little prayer with and prayed, Lord, you know, bring them. And that person goes up and says, Hey, do you have a second? Yeah, yeah, let me get my coffee. You know, come over here, come over here. Hey, listen. I know this is weird, but I've been praying for you to God, the one who hears. And I just sense, I don't know why, I can't answer why, but I just sense that you you have questions about faith, and I just wonder, have you ever placed your faith in Christ? Have you ever asked for forgiveness of your hurts, habits, hag ups, your sins, and invited the Lord into your heart? And that person does like this. They look at you like that for about a second. You're like, oh lands. They have shut off. The computer has shut off. They're fixing to yell at me. How in the world could you talk to somebody like me about something like that? Come on now, but they don't. It goes from this to tears streaming down their face. How do I know? I've done it countless times. I've been standing there and I've said it to them, and then the look goes on their face. And then they do this. Look around. Do I know anybody? The tears, they can't stop the tears from falling. And their knees get a little buckly, and you grab their coffee for them because you don't want them to spill it all over their nice shoes. You say, Come on over here, and you go into a little quiet corner, as if there is one in a coffee shop these days. And they go over there and everybody's there on their computer using the free Wi-Fi, nursing that one cup of coffee that they bought two and a half hours ago, and you shut everything out, everything else, everything else, and you say, Would you like to place your faith in Christ right now? Would you like the assurance of spending your eternity in heaven with the Lord? Would you like forgiveness for your sins, for your hurts, your habits, your hangups? Would you like healing for your shame? Yes. They can't barely even say it. By this point, they're crying so hard they can't even, they can't like that. They're trying to keep it down because they don't want people looking at them. And you very smartly pivot them so their back is to everybody else. The one crying, all they can see is this heaven from crying. And just listen, it's just you, me, and the Lord right now. I want you to pray this and mean it. And then they pray they they pray this prayer that changes their eternity, not their life, their eternity. And you hand them the seven or eight paper towels or whatever you call them, napkins. You hand them them because you knew that she was gonna need it. And she's dabbing her face, and all her makeup is all over the place. Her mascara has totally run. And uh and she's, you know, not for nothing, she doesn't care. Because then through the tears, this smile shows up. And and you say to her, hey listen, you probably have a million questions. Here's my number. Text me anytime. How about how about I notice you come here around 10 a.m. every morning. Let's meet here tomorrow at 10 a.m. And in the meantime, if you have any questions, text me at this number. Call me at this number at any time. And you didn't ask for a hug, but all of a sudden you're in the middle of the wettest hug you've ever had in your life, but it's a tight hug.
SPEAKER_02A few of those. Come along. A few more sobs of joy, come along.
SPEAKER_01This person is now gonna spend eternity in the presence of the Lord.
SPEAKER_02And until she gets to eternity, the Redeemer, the Savior of the world is in her heart, guiding her steps.
SPEAKER_01And you're right there. Well, your friend who prayed that eloquent prayer, she went over and she sat in her normal seat, you know, and the young twenty-somethings weren't filling up the joint with their laptops and their cup of coffee that's two hours old.
SPEAKER_02And she says, What was that I don't know all about?
SPEAKER_01And you say she just placed her faith in Christ. Praise the Lord. She goes, wait a second. Maybe she doesn't say it out loud. But inside she's saying, wait a second, that was my idea. Yeah, but you didn't do it. You didn't do it.
SPEAKER_02Talk is cheap.
SPEAKER_01Verse 14, and Deborah said to Barak, Up, for this is the day in which the Lord has given Sisera into your hand. Does not the Lord go out before you? So how do foot soldiers beat 900 chariots? Deborah's song tells us. Chapter 5, verse 4. The earth trembled and the heavens dropped. Yes, the clouds dropped water. Verse 21. The torrent, Kishon, it didn't happen during this season. For as long as anybody could remember, it never didn't happen. All of a sudden there's a torrent. And it swept them away. The rain came, and the Kishon flooded in seconds. The plane turned into mud, and 900 iron iron chariots of the tanks of their time sank to their axles. The God of Israel did in one afternoon what Baal's worshippers begged their storm god to do all year. The Lord sent the storm. Sisera fled on foot to the tent of Jaelah, the wife of Eber, the Kenite, whose clan was at peace with Jaban. In that world, the women pitched the tents. A tent peg and a mallet were her everyday tools. Hey, you don't like it? Okay. You want empowerment, there's empowerment. Verse 21 tells it plainly, while she slept, she drove the peg into his temple. Come again? Let me read that again. Verse 21 tells it gruesomely. While he slept, right? Right through his temple. It's hard reading, I get it. And the song doesn't flinch from it. The commander of 900 chariots fell to a woman with a tent peg, just as Deborah said. You better shake that off. Then chapter 5. Scholars count the song of Deborah among the oldest poems in the Bible. Hey, high voltage engineer, how about this? Instead of you spending your time going from faith podcast to faith podcast and live stream to live stream, how about you go do your life of hopelessness somewhere else? Off you go. Stupid, stupid people. His eternity, he had a chance to hear the gospel here. He said no. You say no to God one too many times, and you will spend your eternity in eternal torment. I kid you not. Verse number 12. Awake, awake, Deborah, awake, awake, break out in a song, arise, Barak. Verse 7, until I arose, I, Deborah, arose as a mother in Israel. And then the song names who stayed home. Verse 16, why did you sit still among the sheepfolds to hear the whistling for the flocks? Among the clans of Reuben there were great searchings of heart. Here's a translation tension. It's tricky. It's tricky. It's worth hearing. The New American Standard Bible, the NASB, says in verse 15, great resolves of heart. And in verse 16, great searchings of heart. But in the Hebrew, the two phrases differ by a single letter. Don't tell me little things don't mean anything. Little things mean everything. Reuben made great resolutions. Then Reuben did great soul searching. And Reuben never came. Gilead stayed across the Jordan. Dan stayed with the ships. Asher sat still at the coast. Verse 23, curse Meroz, says the angel of the Lord, because they did not come to the help of the Lord. Reuben thought about the battle so long that it ended without him. Oh, I was in prayer about that. Weak. Let me tell you something. The Republican Congress, weak. In the United States, weak. That's part of why we're where we are. I'm telling you the times are going to be tough here in America for the next two years. Kid you not. You think, you think the left, they didn't stop at murdering a man for talking kindly to people. People that weren't compelled to be there. They don't have to be there. Utah Valley, the university, they didn't, they didn't, oh, you got to go to this. No, they went. The guy that murdered him, he went. The guy that practiced with his grandpa's rifle, he went. You don't think they're gonna stop at that? If they'll do that, no holds barred.
SPEAKER_02Don't be a Reuben.
SPEAKER_01Reuben thought about the battle so long that somebody with more bravery went before them. Look. Maybe you're just joining us. I get it. You're thinking, what in the world have I joined? You see me yell at this guy, high voltage engineer. Probably a hey, look, he he might be a tradesman. Who knows? I don't know. Or he just may be a punk that never grew up. He may be a person that has rejected God. Okay. My job isn't to convince you, it's just to tell you. Had an opportunity to hear the truth. Good day, Jasper. So maybe you're just joining us. You're waiting for somebody else to step up. Somebody closer, maybe, somebody better, somebody more articulate. Judges four and five say the waiting has a cost. You remember I talked about your dad, the fudged numbers, the empty youth room, the silent dinner table. You say, look, man, they punish people. Listen, the Trump family, I'd be shocked if every one of them, the left, doesn't bring them up on charges. I pray the Secret Service doubles down. I pray that there are no chinks in their armor, no holes in their fences. If you know, you know. Listen, Butler, Pennsylvania can easily happen again. Make no mistake. Every friend. Look, I don't agree with everything President Trump does. I wish he'd just stop. Honestly, honestly, there's never been anybody like him, and there's never been anybody like him. Good side, bad side. I believe he means well. I believe he's a tough guy, and he says what he thinks. Sometimes he says too much, very often too much. And he lashes out. That's the way he is. He's gonna go down swinging. Ruben had great resolves. Oh, yeah, yeah. I'm letting me think about this. Hmm. And if you're in the radio audience listening on any of the podcast platforms out there and you're hearing this, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm. Let me think, hmm, let me seeking discernment. I'm I'm praying over it. I'm I'm bathing it in prayer and blah, blah, blah. Meanwhile, somebody else who's tired of your hand wringing is getting stuff done. You may not like them. I get it. You don't like them. Brash. Oh, you said it, Jasper. We can't wait anymore. Nobody is guaranteed tomorrow and we stand united with America. May God bless the last free country in the world. I'm gonna go down swinging, I'm gonna tell you that right now. Reuben had all kinds of intentions and searchings of the heart. A lot of us live right there. We live right there. We pray about it. We talk about it. We feel deeply about it. And the battle ends without us. But Ox chose the other side. He wasn't a coward. Hebrews 11, verse 32 lists him among the heroes of the faith. He went. But he wanted somebody else to go first. Hey, if you go, I'll go. Remember? And honor went to someone else. You don't need to be the hero. Let me tell you, I started saying a minute ago, all the people that have stood up, you're gonna see people, it's gonna be rats running from the ship, right? Hey, you gotta honor the the uh the representative that got beat by the Muslim Brotherhood um Islamist who who is absolutely bent on destroying America. First, he wants to destroy the Jews, and then he wants to destroy all of America. And he's gonna do it. That's the reason he's there. Not there to help anybody, he's not there to help anybody. Stop believing that Mamdani in New York is there to help people. He hates Jews. He's on video, right? If you can interpret what either of them say in Arabic, there's lots of video out there. They say it plainly. And they say it without apology. They temper it a little bit just to get elected because they know they're gonna get elected. What do you think this big, this big 20 million people coming into the country and and uh and all the politicians are doing like this? You don't think there's a strategy in the Biden White House? You say, well, why would you do that? Stop asking your murderer why he's murdering you. Stop asking your rapist why are you doing this? The city is gonna get banned for that. I said the R word. Oh well. So listen while you can, because it's probably gonna be taken away. Share it while you can, because it's probably gonna be taken away because I said the R word. I know it's stupid. Stop asking your attacker why they're attacking you. Stop asking the robber why he's coming into your home. While you're asking, he doesn't care about you. She doesn't care about you. But I tell you what, you don't need to be the hero. You just need to be the one that goes. You need to be the one that acts. Talk is cheap. Stop with the blah blah blah, constantly with the with the one thing I hate, people ask me what denomination am I? I'm a follower of the way. I find the denominations, for the most part, exasperating. Not all the people in all the denominations, but most of them I find exasperating. There are a lot of talk, not a lot of action. Look, here's your step for today. Make the call before noon. You know there's somebody that you need to call. You need to make it right. You need to take action. Make the call. It doesn't have to be a diatribe. Just make the call. Stop being chicken. I had somebody contact me from they were a listener, and and somebody that's a regular listener referred them. I'll just leave it at that. Referred them to the show. Thank you. Thank you. And let me tell you what, she got a hold of me with fire yesterday. I don't understand how you can say that. I don't understand. I don't know what her voice is because it was text, but I'm I'm creating a character here. I don't understand how you can say that. The stuff you say is just rude and it's wrong and it's unchristian. You say a lot of unchristian things. And I had a little gap in between because I had don't worry, I'm gonna have all these big red marks and you know stuff on my face because I had to have on my head and um my face and stuff, I had to have some precancerous stuff taken off. No biggie. I even get uglier. It's hard to believe, but true. So I couldn't, I couldn't respond to her. But when I went out to my car, I sat in my car, I opened my mail, and there was another message from her. And so I I said, if you leave me your number, I'd like to leave you an audio message if your if your phone system accepts that. To my shock, she left her number. I sent it to her, I said, Hey, is this so-and-so? She said yes. I left her the audio. And I said, Would you like to place your faith in Christ? Unrelated. Unrelated to anything that we were talking about. She was busy berating me for being un-Christian. Well, first of all, I'm a file over the way. I'm the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but by me. Miss Nicole, a word in perfect timing. Mark 13, 9 through 13. Be on guard. You will be handed over for your faith. Whenever you are arrested, don't worry. Speak what the Holy Spirit gives you. And I said to this, I said to this woman, I found out she's a pretty, she's relatively mature in age. I mean, she's not 61, but she's, you know, she's in her 50s. And I said, Would you like to place your faith in Christ? And she sends back. I don't know why people do like this. What? W-U-T. Question mark, exclamation question mark. I said, left her another message, and I said, It's time. She goes, How do you know I'm not already saved? And I said, You know, and I know you're not. Let's handle this. And she did. And I asked her at the end, why did you place your faith in Christ? Why did you say yes? Why this time? I cannot possibly be the first person to address this with you. And she said, in all my life of being around church folks, some of which are my family, no one has ever asked me. I did because you asked. Stop being such a chicken. You cannot be all right with people going to hell. You say, I can't convince anybody. I'm not a very persuasive person. Tell your story. That you're taking action. Tell your story. Nobody can argue with your story. Oh, sure, they can. They can argue with your story. So what if they do? So what if they do? You tell them the story of what God has done for you, what Yeshua has done in your life, what the Holy Spirit has done in your life. Has it been easy? No. I have said a million times a life in faith is not an easy life. And it's fixing to get harder here for the next two years, Mr. Cole says. Ms. Nicole says, you have to know the Lord personally as we walk into these next couple of years. Oh, amen and amen. Why do you think that the Jews, Israelis, fight the way they do? Because they get rockets slung at them every night, every day. They get buses blown up. They get massacred on October 7th, 2023. That's why. America's fixing to learn the hard way. Listen, make the call. Send the text. You are not responsible for persuading or or or uh convincing anyone. Tell your story. And just say, hey, I'm not here to upset you. And I understand the gospel is offensive. Yeshua Hamashiach came to this earth, lived thirty-three sinless years. The last three years of his life were his ministry, three years. And in the course of three years, he healed the blind. He raised from the dead. He made the lame walk and dance. He made the mute speak. And still, they put him to death. Don't think it's going to be easy. You don't have to convince them. You don't have to persuade them. You just have to tell them. Tell them with a smile. Learn to put a smile on your face. Say, I don't know all the answers. I just know what he's done in my life. I just know what he's done in my life. And if you ever want to place your faith in Christ, I'll do it with you. I'll help you. And I'll stick with you. If you want. And if they get mad at you and they go, I can't believe you brought this up. You say, hey, be well. Lord put it on my heart. I wanted to share it with you. Be well. Don't apologize. Don't start your sentence with, I'm sorry, but. Heck no. The family conversation, the report, the volunteer form. You're waiting for people to do all these other things that you know need done. And the worst of it is the prayer at your own table. Well, faith is a very private thing. So are politics. Politics and faith should not be some quiet thing. If you don't handle it, you will become a prisoner in your own country. And then your country will look nothing. Nothing. Like you knew it to be as a child. Before noon today, wherever you are, noon the afternoon, whatever time it is where you are, before noon today. Before the sun sets tonight, if it's already, you know, we have people listening all around the world. I wish I could show you this. I don't know how to do that, but there's all this stuff. There's a lot more happening. Thank you to all the people who are listening live. Thank you to all the people who are commenting. Thank you to all those who are clicking on subscribe, hitting the little bell for all notifications. It's it's the it's the YouTube channel with about 4,000 subscribers, 4,150. That's the one. I have a backup channel. That's just in case I get bounced, which has happened. That's why I have it. Before noon today, take the first step yourself. Don't wait for somebody else to do it. Suck it up, buttercup. Make the call, send the email, sign the form, and at dinner this evening, don't pray under your breath. God bless you. From South Africa. Jasper Milan 3640 is listening to us from South Africa. Don't think little things don't mean. They mean everything. Nancy, Miss Nancy, you've heard me talk about her. She said, You will preach to oceans of people. That's what the Lord gave her. She didn't know me at all. She didn't know anything about me. And South Africa. We have people listening from Sweden, UK, Australia. We had people listening on VPN from China. From all over the world. Hello, Aaron. Good to see you. Listen, at dinner this evening, pray out loud. Stop the under-the-breath business. When you go, don't make a big scene of it like the Pharisees did. When you go to the coffee shop and you got your little Danish and you're praying over that. When you go to lunch, when you go to breakfast, pray out loud. Stop being a chicken. You don't make a show of it. And hey, how about this? If you're at a place that you have a server, waitress, waiter, that's a server is so stupid. But if you have a person that does that, ask them. I'm fixing to pray over my food and give thanks. Is there anything I can pray for for you? And then and look them right in the eye. Miss Colleen can tell you we've had people just burst into tears when I said that to them. We've had knees buckle. We've had people, I've had say, sit down, sit down, sit down. Tell me about it. And they tell me. And they've always said, I've never had anybody ask me if they could pray for me. Why? Because there's a lot of people out there hand wringing. They're focused more on, ooh, let me see how big a portion I got. Did they give me the extra gravy what I was asking for? You know, hey, did they make the rice like I like it? You know, on the eggs just right. They're hand wringing over themselves. Meanwhile, that person is facing a firing squad of life. Challenge after challenge. You think they're there doing that because they want to? Stop doing the endless searching of the heart. Stop the endless. I'm praying over it. I'm seeing what the Lord says. Lord will tell you. He's an unambiguous, but I'm gonna tell you what I know he won't tell you. I know he won't tell you. Hey, keep your mouth shut on this one. Don't tell him about the gospel. Don't ask him if you can pray for him. I'm gonna guarantee you. He is not telling you that. And he won't. You say, well, what if the person gets mad at me and messes up my order on purpose? So be it. The Lord went to the cross, was tortured for hours and hours, betrayed by his friend. The men he had spent three years with. And they turned away. Most of them turned away. The anguish, the hurt, the utter torture. And he went to the cross, and you can't suffer a little bit of whatever? Stop being weak. Go back to Deborah's question in Judges 4, verse 14. Does not the Lord go out before you? That question holds the whole gospel. Yes, Jua didn't wait for someone else to go first. Philippians 2, verses 7 and 8. He emptied himself by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men and being found in the human form. He humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on the cross. By the way, that cross that he died on, his heavenly father made the tree that cross was made out of. He could have said at any point in time, they're not worth it. Father, they're not worth it. Nobody else. Nobody else could go to the cross and take away our sins. There was no other Redeemer but Yeshua. So he went. Hebrews 6, verses 19 and 20 say he went behind the curtain into the presence of God as a forerunner on our behalf. Hebrews 12, verse 2 calls him the founder and the perfecter of our faith. The Lord went out before you all the way to the cross. So you never truly go first. Every step you take today, he's already taken. And notice what Deborah had to hear. Awake, awake. Even the prophetess needed waking. Psalm 121, verse 4 says, Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. Israel's keeper never once waited for someone else. He didn't sleep through 20 years of Jabin's cruelty, and he hasn't slept through Israel's long history since. The God who never sleeps over Israel never sleeps over you. I have for you today a challenge and a choice. You can sit among the sheepfolds with the great searchings of the heart and all the eloquent things that you say outside of the battlefield, or you can go. You can wait for your brother, your sister, your pastor, your boss, or you can make the call yourself before noon today. Awake, awake, arise. The Lord has already gone out before you. Adonai Elohim, Hashem, Almighty God. You go out before us. You know the thing we've been waiting for somebody else to do. You know how long we've searched our hearts about it. I ask that you wake us up, awake, awake. Give us Deborah's courage. Give us Deborah's courage and the obedience. Give us the obedience Barak finally found. Forgive us for sitting with the sheep folds while others fought. Give us one first step before noon. Thank you that the one who keeps Israel never slumbers or sleeps. Keep us and keep the families we love. Thank you, Ford Yeshua. Oh, thank you, Father, for Jesus. I thank you that he didn't wait for somebody else. I thank you that he didn't look at me in the future and say, that dude's not worth it, because I'm not. You know it and I know it. I thank you that he went all the way to the cross for us. And I pray it in his heavenly name, our Redeemer, our Savior, and our King, Yeshua. Amen. Look, maybe you've been waiting for a better time to come, a better time to come to God. Come on. He's already come to you. Don't wait for anybody else or anything else. Don't wait for anyone else. Come right now. Pray this with me right now. Don't hesitate one moment longer. Pray this and mean it. Yeshua, I need you. I believe you died on the cross for my sins and you went to the grave and you rose again. I surrender my life to you today. I ask you to forgive me of my sins, my hurts, my habits, and my hangups. Lead me. I'm yours. In your matchless name. Amen. Listen, if you prayed that prayer today, type going in the chat or in the comments below so we can rejoice and so we can pray for you by name. All of heaven is rejoicing right now. Then I want you to tell one believer you know and you trust what you did today. And listen, they may not respond, even if it's your family, they may not respond in a way that you envisioned. That's okay. Don't argue with them, don't get into big diatribe. Just tell them, hey, when the preacher guy said, tell somebody you know and you trust that you know as a believer, your your face was immediately in my in my mind. And I just wanted to tell you. Praise the Lord. Thank you. Thank you to everybody. And then you know what? Go to true wordfaithforlife.com. Go to contact. Tell me. I'm gonna tell you what. I'm gonna rejoice. I'm gonna rejoice. I'm gonna be happy about it. And I'm gonna help you. I hope you find a church family that opens the scriptures and scriptures and loves Israel near you. There's one that exists. I'm telling you right now, I don't care where you live. We'll find you some folks to worship with. I want you to take this in. I want you to take this in with shalom. A torch under a palm tree, lightning who wouldn't go alone, a storm on a dry plain in iron wheels, sunken mud, and a forerunner who went first all the way to the cross. Someone you love is waiting for someone else to step up. Send them this episode today. Share this episode link with them today. You don't have to put a sermon. Just tell them, hey, I thought of you when I heard this today. Awake. Awake. Every day of judges is in the judges. There's every single day. This is 147, I think. Day 147, every single one of them are under the live tab on True Word Faith for Life with Dr. Sean, S-H-A-W-N. About 4,000 subscribers. I'd love for you to be one of the subscribers. Click on the little bell for all notifications. Click on the thumbs up. It matters. More people will see it and hear it. Sounds like a crazy thing, but it's true. I want you to receive this blessing. God bless you. Thank you all. Thank you, Miss Tammy. Thank you, Miss Susan. Thank you. I'm grateful for you all. You are a blessing to me. You have no idea. I'm going to pray this blessing over you. I'm nobody special. If you knew me, you'd know. The fact of the matter of it is, I am repeating what the Lord Himself and what the Heavenly Father and our Savior, what our Savior Himself was praying over the people gathered as he transcended to heaven. Mid-sentence, and I'm going to pray it in Lashon Hokadesh, which is Hebrew, the language of God. It's what he talked to them in, and it's what they communicated back with him. Are you ready? Take a deep breath. Come on now. I'm going to translate it. Don't panic. It's okay. I'm going to translate to English. It's very short, and then we'll be finished. You ready? Remember, tomorrow morning, 7 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, if I'm still alive, my heart's still beating, and I'm still able to talk, I cannot wait to deliver tomorrow's message to you. Seriously. And it says right there, day 148. I'm excited. Ready? Receive this. Receive this in his heavenly name. It's not about me. It's about him. Iveraka dunai virishimreka. Oh. Yere dunai panavalika. Vikunaka. Isaadunai panavalaka. Virisimlaka. Shalom. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. Until tomorrow at 7 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, share this. Shalom Bishem Yeshua, Veshalom Elachim.
