TRUE Word, Faith for LIFE!
You've sat through Bible teaching that never changed a thing. Opinions dressed up as truth. Depth that needed a seminary degree to follow, or shallowness that asked nothing of you at all. This is not that. True Word, Faith for LIFE! walks the whole Bible in a year, in order, the way the story was actually told. I take the Hebrew and the Ancient Near Eastern world Scripture was born in and make it plain, so you see what the first hearers saw, then walk out knowing what to do with it today. No watering down. No insider language. Every episode lands on Yeshua, and every episode lands on your real life. If you're tired of confusion and ready to actually live your faith instead of just studying it, you belong here. The Bible in a Year: Walking the Story of God Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM Eastern, LIVE! Sundays, 6:30 PM Eastern,LIVE! The Book Find it in the STORE at the top of the site. This book was written for the person tired of religious pieces, tired of confusion, and ready for God's Word to make sense in real life. Walk this journey with me. Faith for LIFE! © 2026 Dr. Shawn M. What if I told you that the very first murder in human history wasn’t just a tragic family fight… but the opening shot in a cosmic war?

That the story of Cain and Abel isn’t just about jealousy or violence—but about worship, identity, and rebellion against divine instruction?

That the first two sons of humanity weren’t just brothers—they were symbols…

One of covenant obedience.

One of prideful assumption.

And that their choices echo all the way into Genesis 6… to the Nephilim… and to the spiritual corruption that triggered the Flood.

Welcome to True Word, Faith for LIFE! with Dr. Shawn.

Today we go beneath the surface of Genesis 4, into the language, the worldview, and the heartbreak that followed Eden’s exile.

Cain. Abel. The first altar. The first murder.

Were they twins?

Why did God reject Cain’s offering?

And what in the world does any of this have to do with divine beings and giants?

This isn’t the sanitized Sunday School version.

This is raw truth, straight from the Word—with insights from Hebrew, ancient tradition, and scholars like Dr. Skip Moen and Dr. Michael Heiser.

So grab your Bible…

Because once you see what’s really there…

You won’t ever look at Cain—or yourself—the same way again.
