What You Heard about Israel is False

There are moments when lies do not creep. They roar. They rise like a flood that tries to carry away truth itself. What if the lies you are hearing about Israel right now are not new at all. What if the conspiracies flooding your screen are simply ancient hatreds wearing modern clothing.

What if the Enemy is not creative. What if he simply repackages the same old lies from Babylon, Persia, Rome, and Berlin, and then releases them again on TikTok and in comment sections.

THE LIES THAT WILL NOT DIE

The accusations come fast. Israel commits genocide. Israel controls global politics. Israel manipulates America. Israel steals land. Israel murders political enemies. Israel owns the media. Israel controls the banks. Israel orchestrates world events.

These lies are ancient. They appeared in Pharaoh’s court. They appeared in Haman’s plot. They appeared in Roman propaganda. They appeared in medieval Europe during blood libels. They appeared in Nazi Germany.

The Enemy only changes the platform. He never changes the message.

ANE CONTEXT. THE WAR BEHIND THE WAR

In the Ancient Near East, nations were inseparable from the gods they served. To attack a nation was to challenge its deity. When God called Abraham in Genesis 12, surrounding nations understood that this was no mere tribal claim. This was the declaration of a God who claimed universal sovereignty.

Israel has always been hated because Israel reveals the God who is above all gods. Hatred of Israel is theological before it is political. It always has been.

Genesis 12:3

LEB: “I will bless those who bless you, but the one who treats you lightly I must curse, and all the families of the earth will be blessed in you.”

The world reads this politically. The ANE world understood it as a cosmic allegiance. Bless Abraham and you align with God. Curse Abraham and you align with rebellion.

CORRECTING THE LIE OF LAND THEFT AFTER WORLD WAR TWO

The Land of Israel in the First Century

One of the most common lies repeated today is that Jews stole the land from Palestinians after World War Two. There was no Palestinian state. There was no Palestinian king. There was no Palestinian currency. There was no Palestinian government, cabinet, parliament, or monarchy. Under the Ottomans the land was divided into districts. No sovereign Arab nation existed called Palestine.

Jews purchased land legally from Ottoman landlords in the late eighteen hundreds and early nineteen hundreds. They bought swamps, marshes, and deserts. They drained malaria infested land. They built farms, vineyards, towns, clinics, and universities.

Then in nineteen forty seven the United Nations offered two states. One Jewish. One Arab. The Jews accepted. The Arab leadership rejected the offer and launched a war to destroy the Jewish population.

You cannot steal land from someone who refuses a sovereign offer and chooses war instead.

Charlie Kirk’s assassination was not secret. It was not hidden. It was not mysterious. It was live, on camera, witnessed by thousands, and reported by every major news network.

The alleged shooter was captured on film. Investigators linked him through DNA and ballistic evidence. He was arraigned and remains in custody awaiting trial. Federal agencies and Colorado authorities are fully involved. This tragedy was public. It was documented. It was national.

None of it involved Israel. None of it involved Mossad. The conspiracy is not based in evidence. It is rooted in an ancient hatred that always tries to attach any tragedy to the Jewish people.

THE SPIRITUAL ROOT OF MODERN HATRED

The Enemy cannot destroy God, so he attacks the people God uses to reveal His covenant. Israel is a signpost. A testimony. A living reminder of God’s faithfulness. That is why Israel is targeted. The hatred is ancient. The conspiracy is spiritual. The strategy is demonic.

Let’s talk a moment about your favorite super popular influencer/podcaster you like to listen to. Do you trust them implicitly because they have 4 million followers & billions of views?

Influence is not evidence. Popularity has never been the measure of truth, and in the digital age the gap between what people believe and what is actually true has widened dramatically. An influencer can collect a million followers for the same reason junk food sells better than vegetables. People do not flock to what is true; they flock to what is easy, sensational, emotional, and confirms what they already believe. That is Confirmation Bias 101. The most-followed voices online often grow not because they speak truth, but because they speak to the prejudices, fears, rage, and fantasies of their audience. The platform algorithms reward emotional reaction, not factual accuracy. If outrage boosts engagement, the algorithm pushes more outrage. If conspiracy brings comments, it amplifies conspiracy. The number beside someone’s name does not testify to their character, integrity, sources, or honesty. It only testifies to their ability to provoke clicks.

History offers endless proof of this. The prophets of Israel were rarely popular, but they were the ones who spoke truth. Meanwhile the false prophets attracted crowds with ease because they told the people exactly what they wanted to hear. Jeremiah stood almost alone in warning Judah of judgment, while the lies of the false teachers spread like wildfire. Popularity did not validate them. It condemned them. In the same way, today’s influencers often gain traction not by presenting documented, verifiable information, but by exploiting emotion. A viral clip can spread across the world even if every claim in it is demonstrably false. High follower counts are not “receipts.” They are not proof. They are applause, and applause can be wrong.

Psychology backs this up. Multiple studies across Stanford, MIT, and Oxford have shown that false information spreads online six times faster than truthful information. Why? Because lies are crafted to be sensational, shocking, and emotionally stimulating. Truth rarely behaves that way. Truth is often slower, quieter, more complex, and less flattering. The fact that someone has millions of followers means only that many people find them entertaining or emotionally validating, not that anything they say has been vetted, sourced, or corroborated. In other words, follower count measures visibility, not veracity.

Finally, it is crucial to understand that algorithms create echo chambers. When an influencer appeals to a particular ideology or grievance, social-media platforms intentionally feed their content to people predisposed to agree. That artificially inflates their numbers and creates the illusion of authority. But an illusion is all it is. Expertise is verified by evidence, training, history, and accountability. Truth is verified by facts. Follower count is verified by clicks. And clicks have never been a standard of truth. If they were, the world’s most shared rumors, hoaxes, and conspiracy theories would count as wisdom. They do not. They are simply loud. (a)

THE CHALLENGE AND THE CHOICE

You cannot remain neutral in a generation drowning in lies. You must choose.

Will you stand with what God blesses.

Will you oppose what God opposes.

Will you bless Israel because God commands it.

Will you resist lies that come from the ancient serpent.

Silence is not neutrality.

Silence is surrender.

Choose truth.

Choose courage.

Choose covenant faithfulness.
