There are moments in history when polite words are not enough. This is one of those moments. With the murder of Charlie Kirk, America has crossed its Rubicon. Civility has been answered with violence. Patience has been mistaken for weakness. Silence has been interpreted as surrender.
Charlie Kirk: The Happy Warrior
Charlie was no violent agitator. He was a kind, tall, thoughtful man who loved people enough to speak with respect even when he disagreed. He welcomed debate. He embodied civility. Yet his voice was not met with argument, but with a bullet. This was not protest. It was not resistance. It was evil.
The Rubicon of Violence
History remembers Julius Caesar crossing the Rubicon, a point of no return. Scripture remembers Cain rising up to kill his brother Abel. Stephen stoned because his words cut to the heart. Yeshua crucified for speaking truth. In every case, once the innocent blood was spilled, retreat was no longer possible. That is where America stands today.
The Real Problem: Ideology of Hatred
This is not just a lone act. This is the fruit of a demonic ideology that teaches that words are violence while real violence is justified. It is inflamed by politicians, professors, media, and corporations who excuse the inexcusable. They mock civility, despise truth, and embolden evil.
Timeline of Leftist Attacks Against Conservatives (2016–2025)
2016
•Event: Donald Trump elected. From the outset, protests (“Not My President”), claims of illegitimacy, and the Russian collusion narrative sought to delegitimize him.
• “Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain?” (Psalm 2:1). The frenzy of opposition reflected rebellion not only against a man but against the order God permits.
2017
•Event: Justice Neil Gorsuch targeted during nomination; Trump officials harassed in restaurants, homes, and public venues.
• “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me” (Matthew 5:11). The attacks were personal, designed to shame and silence, not debate.
2018
•Event: Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation turned into national spectacle. Christine Blasey Ford’s accusations (never proven) weaponized against him. Protests disrupted hearings; senators like Susan Collins were threatened.
•“You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor” (Exodus 20:16). The commandment itself was trampled. Like Abel, Kavanaugh’s character was slain in the field of public opinion because his judicial philosophy exposed rebellion.
2019
•Event: Trump impeached for “abuse of power.” Conservative voices like Ben Shapiro and Tucker Carlson targeted with doxxing, boycott campaigns, and threats.
•“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness” (Isaiah 5:20). Political warfare dressed as moral righteousness turned truth upside down.
2020
•Event: COVID controversies fueled harassment of conservative leaders and citizens. Supreme Court justices vilified over election-related rulings.
•“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). The spirit of fear was weaponized to silence dissent and label truth-tellers as threats.
2021
•Event: Trump impeached again, accused of inciting January 6. Conservative lawmakers branded “extremists.”
•“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first” (John 15:18). Hatred of biblical truth and order was projected onto those who stood for them.
2022
•Event: Dobbs decision overturned Roe v. Wade. Leftist rage exploded against conservative justices (Alito, Thomas, Barrett, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh). Protesters mobbed their homes. An armed man attempted to assassinate Justice Kavanaugh.
•“Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter” (Proverbs 24:11). Roe’s defenders, raging at life, turned their fury on those who upheld God’s law of life.
2023
•Event: Conservative parents and school board members opposing radical curricula branded “domestic terrorists” by activists and DOJ memos. Conservative commentators censored online.
•“Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees” (Isaiah 10:1). Those who sought to protect children were recast as criminals.
2024
•Event: Conservative candidates vilified with smear campaigns, labeled “extremists.” Trump campaign targeted with indictments many viewed as politically motivated.
•“Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands afar off; for truth has stumbled in the public squares, and uprightness cannot enter” (Isaiah 59:14). Truth itself was banished to make way for political persecution.
2025
•Event: Charlie Kirk assassinated on September 10 after years of vilification. Already, President Trump had been shot and Corey Comperatore murdered. The Rubicon of bloodshed was crossed.
• “Cain said to Abel his brother, ‘Let us go out to the field.’ And when they were in the field, Cain rose up against his brother Abel and killed him” (Genesis 4:8). Righteousness once again was slain by rebellion.
• “No weapon formed against you shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17). Though their voices are silenced by violence, their witness cannot be destroyed.
Patterns Across the Timeline
•False Witness (Exodus 20:16) – character assassinations repeated against conservatives.
•Hatred of Righteousness (John 15:18) – those who stand for life, truth, and covenant targeted most fiercely.
•Weaponized Fear & Violence (2 Timothy 1:7; Genesis 4:8) – words labeled “violence” while bullets and mobs are excused.
•God’s Assurance (Isaiah 54:17; 2 Corinthians 5:8) – persecution cannot erase the covenant hope of eternal life.
Reject Conspiracy Poison
And let me say this without apology: stop taking the bait of conspiracy click-baiters. Many of these “truth seekers” are nothing more than attention addicts or operatives of foreign enemies who long to divide and destroy America. While rarely a theory proves true, most are toxic lies. They fracture unity, distract from real solutions, and weaken the cause. Think it through before you share. This must stop.

Neutrality is an illusion. Silence is surrender. Will you retreat into comfort while freedom is stolen, children indoctrinated, and truth silenced by bullets? Or will you stand, speak, and live courageously for the Lord and His truth?
