What if everything you’ve been told about Gaza is not just wrong—but dangerously distorted?
What if truth, biblical history, and covenant understanding have been hijacked by propaganda?
This message is not driven by emotion.
It is driven by truth.
Scripture. History. And moral clarity.
Stay with me.
A Message from a Follower of the Way
Shalom, beloved friends.
Recently, someone on my social media passionately claimed that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza and that she can no longer support Israel. She publicly claims as her faith, Christianity.
I appreciate the sincerity behind that sentiment, but I must speak truth to it—with love, biblical clarity, and unshakable courage.
Let us begin with the word “genocide.”
The Shoah—the Holocaust—was genocide.
Over six million Jews, including more than one million children, were methodically hunted, tortured, and exterminated.
They were not soldiers.
They were not rebels.
They were victims of unspeakable evil, marked for extinction simply for being Jews.
To compare that to Gaza is to insult truth and desecrate the memory of the murdered.
What Happened on October 7, 2023
On that horrific morning, over 3,000 Hamas terrorists invaded Israeli territory from Gaza.
They unleashed pure evil:
•Over 1,200 civilians were slaughtered.
•Babies were beheaded.
•Women were raped in front of their families.
•Families were burned alive in their homes.
•Holocaust survivors were abducted.
•Teenagers were mutilated.
•Civilians were hunted door to door.
And Gaza cheered.
Videos flooded social media of Gazans dancing, clapping, and handing out candy.
The streets rang with celebration.
Desecrated Israeli bodies were filmed and shared with glee.
Hostages were hidden in the homes of everyday Gazans.¹
These were not bystanders.
These were willing participants.
What Israel Has Done FOR Gaza
In contrast to the propaganda, here is what Israel has done for Gaza over the last several decades, even while being attacked:
•Piped water and electricity into Gaza from Israeli utilities.
•Supplied food, medicine, and fuel—even during wars.
•Treated wounded Gazans in Israeli hospitals, often free of charge.
•Provided work permits to tens of thousands of Gazans who crossed daily into Israel.
•Sent concrete and building materials, which Hamas routinely redirected to build terror tunnels.
•Broadcasted evacuation alerts before airstrikes—by phone, leaflet, and text.
•Built field hospitals on the border for Gazans.
•Maintained humanitarian corridors, even while under rocket fire.
No other nation provides such aid to those who chant for its destruction.
What Gaza, Hamas, and Hezbollah Have Done TO Israel
Since Israel’s full withdrawal from Gaza in 2005, here’s what it has endured:
•Over 30,000 rockets fired indiscriminately into civilian areas.
•Arson balloons torching farms and wildlife.
•Terror tunnels dug to infiltrate Israeli communities.
•Suicide bombings, knife attacks, and car rammings.
•Propaganda curriculum, training children to become martyrs.
•Media incitement, glorifying murder and demonizing Jews.
•Weapons hidden in schools, mosques, and hospitals.
•Use of human shields as a deliberate military strategy.
•Support from Hezbollah, which launches rockets from Lebanon and receives weapons from Iran.
This is not a freedom movement.
This is genocidal obsession fueled by religious hatred and jihad.
What Does Scripture Say?
Before 1964, there was no Palestinian identity.
No government. No national coinage. No unique language.
The identity was created by Yasser Arafat to undermine the Jewish claim to the land.
Even the name “Palestine” traces back to the Philistines, a Greek sea people from Crete—not Arabs.
God’s covenant is clear:
The land was given to Abraham, through Isaac and Jacob—not Ishmael (Genesis 17:19–21).
Genesis 12:3 is not vague:
“I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you.”
Gaza is part of the ancient Philistine territory, historically an enemy of God’s people.
Joel 3:4–7 promises judgment on Gaza for selling the children of Judah.
Obadiah condemns those who stood idly by during violence against Jacob.
This is not a war between colonizers and natives.
This is covenant versus chaos.
But What About the Civilians in Gaza?
Yes, civilians have died.
And I weep for every innocent life lost.
But let us be clear:
•Hamas fires rockets from hospitals and schools.
•Hamas hides weapons in mosques and UN buildings.
•Hamas prevents civilians from evacuating.
•Hamas uses their own people as shields—by choice.
If Israel intended to destroy Gaza, it would be gone.
Instead, Israel risks the lives of its own soldiers to minimize civilian harm.
That is not genocide.
That is restraint. Righteousness. Mercy in war.
The Challenge and the Choice
You have a choice.
Will you be moved by emotion, or anchored in truth?
Will you side with headlines, or with the Word of God?
This is not just about politics.
This is about discernment.
About covenant.
About righteousness.
Challenge:
Read Genesis, Joel, Obadiah, Isaiah.
Learn history—not hashtags.
Choice:
Truth or deception.
Life or death.
Covenant or compromise.
As for me and my house—we will stand with Israel. What will YOU stand for? Who will YOU stand for?
🙏 Prayer of Salvation
If you’re ready to trust in the Lord right now, pray this with me:
Avinu Malkeinu (Our Father, our King),
I come before You with a humble heart, seeking Your mercy and truth.
I confess that I have sinned and fallen short of Your glory.
I turn away from my sins, my own ways, and I return to You in teshuvah (repentance).
As it is written, “Return to Me, and I will return to you” (Malachi 3:7).
I believe that Yeshua HaMashiach is the promised Messiah, the Son of the Living God.
I believe that He died for my sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, according to the Scriptures (Isaiah 53, Psalm 22).
Through His sacrifice, my sins are atoned for, and I am made new.
I call upon Your Shem HaKadosh (Holy Name), as it is written:
“Whoever calls on the Name of Adonai shall be saved” (Joel 2:32).
Today, I surrender my life to You.
Fill me with Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit), and lead me in Your ways.
Teach me Your Torah, write Your commandments upon my heart, and guide me in the footsteps of Messiah.
Thank You, Abba, for Your love, for salvation through Yeshua, and for making me part of Your covenant people.
In the Name of Yeshua HaMashiach, Melech HaMelachim (King of Kings), I pray.
Amen.
If you prayed that prayer, contact me. I will walk with you and help you grow.
Thank you for seeking and finding Truth.
Thank you for loving and seeking righteousness.
