376 — The Man Who Carries Fire

Podcast Premiere: Monday, July 14 at 7 PM EDT

Shalom, friends.

What if I told you that a single number—just one—held the key to understanding man’s divine origin, his covenantal purpose, his capacity for either destruction or blessing, and his eternal calling to carry fire?

This Monday night, we uncover the power behind Strong’s Concordance number 376—the Hebrew word Ish (אִישׁ).

Ish isn’t just the generic word for "man." It is covenantal. It is priestly. It is loaded with meaning that runs through the entire Hebrew Bible. This is not numerology. It is sacred structure.

The word Ish contains the Hebrew word for fire (esh). It also contains Aleph, the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet, which represents God. With God, man becomes Ish—the fire-bearer with holy purpose. But remove Aleph, and what remains is only esh—wild fire. Unrestrained. Dangerous. Destructive.

This is the fire that either forges altars or burns down households.

We will explore what the Aleph and the fire mean within Hebrew structure, the Ancient Near Eastern worldview, and through the teachings of scholars like Dr. Michael Heiser and Dr. Skip Moen. We will also look at the fire in marriage, where Ish and Ishah (man and woman) can either become a sanctuary or a blaze, depending on whether Yah is present.

Genesis 2:24 says, "Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh." Together, they form a sacred bond. And in Hebrew, when you combine Ish (man) and Ishah (woman), you get the divine name Yah (י-ה) embedded within their names. Remove Yah, and all that remains is fire and fire.

Paul called Yeshua the "Last Adam"—the perfect Ish. Where Adam remained silent, Yeshua spoke. Where Adam failed to protect, Yeshua laid down His life.

Are you carrying holy fire today—or uncontrolled flame?

This episode is a call for men to reclaim their covenantal identity. For women to understand the sacred charge placed on the men in their lives. And for both to walk together, under the presence of Yah, as fire-bearers—not fire-starters.

🔥 Join me Monday, July 14 at 7 PM EDT on True Word, Faith for LIFE! for a deep dive into the fire-coded identity of biblical manhood. This one will change how you see the word "man" forever.
